I have space for new clients at the moment. I work face‑to‑face on Mondays in Chorlton (Manchester) and Tuesday to Friday in Hebden Bridge (West Yorkshire).
Remote sessions are also available Tuesday to Friday for anyone who prefers to meet online or finds travel difficult.
I keep a mixture of early‑morning, daytime and evening appointments so we can usually find a time that fits around work, study or caring responsibilities.
About me and my therapy practice
My approach is integrative, relational and trauma‑informed, grounded in Transactional Analysis. That means we spend time getting curious about the patterns that shape the way you think, feel and relate, always in the context of your unique history and present‑day stresses. I bring a strongly neuro‑affirming lens, influenced by my own late discovery of being autistic and ADHD, but I work with people from every background and neurotype. Sessions tend to balance reflection with practical tools; for example, we might explore early relationship dynamics one week and practise a nervous‑system regulation technique the next. I see therapy as a partnership—sometimes gentle, sometimes challenging, always respectful—aimed at helping you move from feeling stuck or overwhelmed to feeling more at home in yourself and in your life.
Practice description
I work with adults and couples who are dealing with anxiety, low mood, relationship conflict, work stress, questions of identity or the lingering effects of trauma. Many clients arrive unsure exactly what they need; that is perfectly fine—together we will find the focus. Each session lasts one full hour and usually takes place weekly, though some people prefer fortnightly or a blend of in‑person and online. My rooms are quiet, private and set up to minimise sensory distractions; if we meet online, we use an encrypted platform for confidentiality. Fees are £55 for individual therapy and £75 for couples, payable by bank transfer in advance or by cash on the day. Above all, I aim to offer a space that feels warm, inclusive and genuinely useful, where you can speak freely, learn about yourself and begin to shift the things that are weighing you down.
My first session
Our first hour together is a chance to see how it feels to sit in the room—or on the screen—together. I will invite you to tell me what brings you and what you hope might change, and I will outline how confidentiality works and what therapy with me tends to look like. There is no extra paperwork beyond basic contact details. We use the time to make sure the fit feels right and to sketch the beginnings of a direction for our work. The session is charged at the usual fee, and you are welcome to go away and think about it before committing to further appointments.
