My working hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm
I also offer walk and talk therapy in and around my local area,this could be cosy campervan sessions with a cuppa,or this could be getting your hat and gloves on and walking and talking things through,away from the sometimes daunting setting of a counselling room.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and experienced Psychotherapist with over ten years of clinical experience, working in a vast array of settings, from drug and alcohol support services, bereavement support services and also school settings offering counselling and wellbeing support.
I have supported individuals from all walks of life, through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. My work encompasses issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, self harm, self esteem difficulties, and Neurodivergence, among many others.
At the heart of my practice is a client centered, compassionate, and collaborative approach. I believe that therapy is most effective when clients feel truly seen, heard and understood, and i am committed to meeting each person exactly where they are in their journey.
My therapeutic style is grounded, honest, and down to earth, creating a safe and authentic space where real change can happen. I offer a warm and personable approach, and strive to build genuine connections, based on trust, respect, and openness. I draw on a range of evidence based therapeutic modalities, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual.
With a deep understanding of both the complexities and resilience of the human experience, I aim to help clients develop greater self awareness, emotional balance, and confidence to move forward in their lives, with purpose and clarity.
Practice description

I believe that you hold the capacity for growth and change, and my role is to help you reconnect with your own inner resources and wisdom.
I offer therapy in a variety of settings to suit your needs and preferences, this could be face to face in a comfortable, homely environment, walk and talk therapy for those who find healing and clarity in nature, and campervan counselling, a unique and flexible space that provides both comfort and a sense of freedom.
Drawing on experiences across many therapeutic modalities, I take a holistic approach, considering every aspect of your life, from emotional to physical as well as relational and spiritual. Together we can explore your experiences and challenges to help you build practical tools and techniques that support self understanding, resilience, and a greater sense of control in your life.
My first session
In our first session we may complete a psychometric questionnaire, this helps us to gauge where you may be at when we start and how things may change as we go along.
These questionnaire can be helpful in gauging change as the sessions go on, but are not always for every client, and can at times feel too clinical, if this is the case, we can tailor this to include aims or goals as well as expectations.
We do not have to do any of the above and the sessions are all about you and what feels best to you, I know first sessions can be daunting so I do offer a quick ten minute check in and chat at no charge before we start work together, this just allows you to express what you need and what you wish to work on.
It also allows you to get a sense of how we will work together and a feel for if i am right for you, this is really important, these are your sessions and you need to be happy and feel comfortable with the person you share your experiences with.
