ONLINE THERAPY AND COUNSELLING
Hello and welcome! I am a client-centered therapist with an online practice. In my approach to counselling, I hold a compassionate and supportive space for you to unpack what is on your mind. Life can be tough at times and we could all benefit from having someone who can lend a compassionate listening ear. In my practice I provide a safe space where I am here to witness your life experience, and to support you through your difficulties. It is important to feel heard, understood and supported.
Therapy Goals
Do you find the pressures of life sometimes feel overwhelming and too much to manage on your own? I hold a safe space where you can unpack and explore the difficulties and struggles you are experiencing in your life. My non-directive approach welcomes you with acceptance and understanding. Here you can decide what you would like to work through in your sessions. Together we will process the stresses of your week so you can let them go and move forward feeling a little bit lighter. I am here to support you with warmth, empathy, and understanding, and you get to address the emotional issues you are struggling with in a safe confidential space. Here you can also work towards developing emotional resilience and experiencing improved feelings of wellbeing going forward.
About me and my therapy practice
During our online sessions I will be fully present to bear witness to your experience with compassion and empathy. I provide short, medium or long term therapy, depending on your needs. In our weekly sessions you get to decide what topics or issues you want to bring along to discuss at each session, and I am here to be with you through your experience and to bear witness to your story. I will support you as you gain insights, and together we will work through your current life stressors and explore more effective ways to overcome the difficulties you might be facing. Therapy is also a space where you can explore and discover your personal values, strengths, and capabilities to support you reaching your life goals.
Practice description
Examples of typical issues I can support you with include feelings of overwhelm, stress, anxiety or depression. We might also explore ways to manage any unhelpful thoughts or feelings you are experiencing. Perhaps you are considering, or have recently experienced, significant life changes and you need a space to process these changes in circumstance. You might be wanting to find healthier lifestyle practices or habits to improve your overall wellbeing going forward, or perhaps you need a safe space to offload the stresses you have accumulated through the week so you can step into next week feeling a little lighter and with stronger emotional resilience. I am here for you, to bear witness to your experience in a safe confidential space where I will support you with warmth, understanding and empathy as you move towards better feelings of wellbeing, joy and contentment. In this environment, you can begin to cultivate positive changes as you move towards feelings of wellbeing and develop emotional resilience. I can hold short-term or long-term support for you, based on your needs.
If my approach sounds like a good fit for you, contact me, and we can begin working towards the positive outcomes you are looking for.
