About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Mario, a warm, empathetic, neurodivergent, and gay therapist offering online sessions for adults. My work is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and LGBTQIA+ inclusive.

I provide a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can explore life’s challenges, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with your authentic self. I often work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and the ongoing effects of masking or adapting to others’ expectations.

My approach integrates insights from Transactional Analysis, attachment theory, psychodynamics, object relations, and creative exploration. Together, we can uncover the patterns shaping your life and find new ways of being that feel more authentic and sustaining.

I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent clients, survivors of childhood trauma, and those affected by climate-related distress.

I live and work between Spain and the UK, offering therapy in English online.

If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with compassion, curiosity, and honesty, I’d be glad to hear from you.

Practice description

My practice is grounded in respect, empathy, and curiosity for each person’s unique story. I offer a safe and confidential space where you can explore patterns, emotions, and relationships and find new ways to understand and relate to yourself.

My core training is in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy with an integrative focus, which means I draw from psychodynamic, humanistic, and relational perspectives to tailor our work to your individual needs. Since establishing my clinical practice in 2019, I’ve delivered thousands of hours of therapy with adults from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and identities.

Therapy with me is collaborative and responsive. We work together at your own pace, exploring what feels most important to you and supporting meaningful change in a way that feels safe and sustainable. I am particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent clients to embrace their authentic selves, and I frequently work with those exploring the lasting impact of trauma, masking, or adapting to others’ expectations.

I’m committed to ongoing professional development and remain up to date with current research, theory, and emerging therapeutic approaches. I am registered with both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Íø±¬ÃÅ) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I am fully insured and receive regular supervision to ensure the quality, safety, and integrity of my work.
