About me and my therapy practice
People call me Rachel or Ray. I am an HCPC and Íø±¬ÃÅ registered Psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. I have fifteen years of experience. I mostly provide one to one therapy, couples therapy and supervision sessions but I also have experience in setting up, leading and facilitating group work. I work with adults, children and families. I am a practicing artist and am trained in Art Psychotherapy but much of my work now is talking therapy. I work both online (via Zoom) over the phone and face to face. All of these sessions take place in my therapy space in Tottenham, London.
Practice description
I work both short and long term - with individuals, adults, children, couples and groups. I provide a safe space to learn, develop and heal. My areas of speciality include personal growth and transformation, LGBTQ+ issues, help with anxiety, stress and trauma. I am available for daytime and evening sessions throughout the week.
I offer an initial session at a reduced rate and at this stage you can decide if you would like the work to continue. Together we will decide how many sessions you might like and how often (weekly, monthly etc); if you would prefer to work in person, on the phone or via video. Some people choose to use Art as a way to help express themselves. The non-verbal communication and visual processes within Art Therapy can be very helpful, especially when exploring more complex feelings, but it is not something you have to use.
My first session
During our first session we will meet for the full 50 minutes but at a reduced rate of £30.
This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other a bit more - I can explain to you how I work and you can tell me what you want to get from therapy. I will let you know if I am happy to work with you moving forward, but there is no pressure for you to decide there and then if you would like to commit to more sessions.
We can meet either in person or online (via Zoom)

Practice description
People call me Rachel or Ray. I am a Psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, registered with both and Íø±¬ÃÅ. I have over twelve years of experience working with children and adults and providing supervision - As a supervisor, I work individually as well as in small groups.
I offer a supportive space where you can honestly share and explore issues to do with your work - client/therapist dynamics, organisational issues etc. Another essential part of supervision is acknowledging your achievements and successes. Therapeutic/counselling work is tough and recognising what a good job you are doing is very important.
I work with trainees, recently qualified and experienced therapists and counsellors. I have experience of supervising in organisational contexts and in private practice.
I also offer non-clinical supervision to individuals or small groups from organisations or charities working with abuse or trauma related work.
My first session
An initial session provides both you and I an opportunity to see if we could work well together.
I can tell you about how I work and you can share with me what you would like to get from your supervision and how best I can support you.
There is no pressure to commit in that meeting if you would like more - you can take your time and contact me again afterwards.
