About me and my therapy practice
I am a highly experienced individual psychotherapist with a strong focus on relational attachments and childhood trauma while also having a wealth of experience working with a variety of themes including general trauma, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, sexuality, and relationship challenges as well as the everyday problems people may struggle with.
Furthermore, I specialise as a GSRD (Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity) psychotherapist, offering a safe and inclusive space for individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, those who are kinky, polyamorous or in open relationships. I am committed to providing a sex-positive environment where all clients can feel seen, heard, and supported.
Psychotherapy provides room and space to safely explore past or present issues that affect your everyday life. We all have our story and history, which influence the person that we are and the suffering we may experience. But we can develop new perspectives and insights into what has shaped us as individuals.
I offer a safe, empathic, and confidential space where you can explore, without judgment, your story and any personal issues or difficulties you are experiencing. I will work with you, in your own rhythm, to help you deepen your awareness of your experiences, thoughts, and embodied feelings. This will help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, find the root of your feelings and what is going on for you, working towards a more integrated sense of self. The therapy process aims to provide a space for you to discover and explore your way of being, to help you find your needs and desires that make you feel whole, the person you want to be.
Practice description
I am an integrative psychotherapist continuously developing my knowledge and skills while drawing on the Person-centred and Psychodynamic approaches to Counselling and Psychotherapy. These approaches put you and your experiences at the centre of the therapy process. This means we decide together on the process of our work, to meet your unique needs as an individual. My first session
The first session is an Initial Assessment of 50 minute over Zoom that is cost and commitment free to ask any questions you might have and where I can give you more detailed information about my practice. This would also be a session to get to know each other, see if we might be a good fit to work together and discuss a potential therapeutic beginning.
I have a sliding scale from £65-£85, you decide what fits your circumstances.
Thank you for considering me as your psychotherapist.
