About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life can feel disconnected - like you’re always chasing it, trying to make sense of things.
On the surface, you might seem ‘fine’. Inside, loneliness, doubt, anxiety, or hopelessness can be constant companions. You might feel life is too much, or that hurting yourself is the only way to cope.
I work with people experiencing these kinds of challenges. Sessions with me aim to get to the root of the issues, creating lasting change. My approach is authentic, warm, and non-shaming. I’m empathetic, but I won’t let you wriggle out of the tough stuff.
I can blend talking therapy with creative approaches if this is helpful - metaphor, sculpting, somatic focusing - so therapy is as unique as you and your life experiences. My aim is always to hold your story safely, see your pain, and help you start finding your own footing, at your pace, in your way.
Practice description
I run a discreet, welcoming, purpose-built practice in Middlewich and Sandbach, Cheshire. My spaces are safe, non-judgmental, and affirming of all identities, including LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients.
I specialise in complex trauma, PTSD, sexual trauma (recent or historical, including support for those navigating legal processes), childhood abuse/neglect, being care-experienced, pregnancy & infant loss, birth trauma, parenting and relationship difficulties, existential questions, and grief.
Clients often come feeling isolated, anxious, or carrying past pain that affects their daily life. I offer a mix of integrative talking therapy and creative, somatic approaches to help clients engage deeply with their experiences. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs.
My first session
Your first step is a chance to see if we’re a good fit. It’s a no-obligation 20-minute phone call where we talk about what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you might have, and decide how we might work together.
If we decide to continue, we’ll agree a convenient appointment time to begin our sessions and, from there, start to explore your experiences.
Sessions are 60 minutes long, and my fee is £65 per session.
If I’m not the best fit for your needs, I am happy to suggest other trusted therapists.
