About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Spencer I am a highly experienced integrative psychotherapist in the Essex area. I am a member of both the Íø±¬ÃÅ and BAP. I have a master's degree in psychology and counselling and ample qualifications in other areas of counselling. Foremost I have gained experience in life's difficulties throughout my time in the armed forces, allowing me to understand you personally, not just what I have studied over time. I have worked for the prison service dealing with low to high mental health issues. I like a straight approach to therapy moving away from the old style of therapeutic practice.
Being integrative means that I am not set by a single counselling method instead, I can use many methods of therapeutic intervention to give you a completely personal experience in moving forward with present issues you may be having. I have been involved with mental health for over 25 years and have a deep understanding of long-term illness, depression, PTSD, anxiety, suicide and self-harm, ADHD, family problems, adult and children support, and life coaching.
I have extensive knowledge of different trauma-focused interventions working with the military and our emergency services including the prison service and children's welfare. It does not matter what your background is, together we can make a positive change.
With present-day issues in our country, DEPRESSION, ANXIETY AND WORRY largely affect people's everyday lives. I am a positive-thinking and motivated person who will assist you in making positive change.
I am a registered member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ and BAP so abide by the code of ethics and good practices associated with both organisations.
Get in touch and I will call you back for a free consultation.
