Saturdays between 11:00 and 15:00 or Wednesdays at 19:00.

£50 In-person counselling session

£45 Online counselling session

£40 concessionary rate for counselling students 

I am an experienced and empathetic counsellor and clinical supervisor based at Friarswood clinic, Westlands, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Just a 5 minute drive from Keele University and 10 minutes from Staffordshire University.

With over 7 years in the mental health sector and 3 years of experience post-qualification as a counsellor/psychotherapist, I offer a person-centred approach to counselling. This means I can be alongside you through whatever you choose to bring to the sessions.

 I may also suggest other therapeutic interventions tailored to your needs.

 I take great pride in my neuro-affirming practice, ensuring that all clients feel valued and understood. I also have experience in bereavement counselling, mental health support, and domestic issues. My accreditation from RNIB and pending accreditation with the Íø±¬ÃÅ reflect my commitment to a high standard of ethical practice.

Currently working as a university counsellor, I have the privilege of supporting a diverse range of clients, and I offer a warm, inclusive  welcome to all.

You can feel assured that I offer a safe, confidential space to explore your feelings, emotions, and life experiences.

I offer a free introductory call which should take no longer than 20 minutes. This is where we can decide if I am the right therapist for you.

You will be invited to take some time to consider and if you are happy to continue, we can go ahead and book your first session. 

I work from my private office in the Westlands, Newcastle Under Lyme

I also offer the convenience of online sessions, I use MS Teams for this.

In our first session I may invite you to complete a short assessment about how you have been feeling recently- this is not mandatory.

We will also take a few minutes to go over the client/ counsellor agreement which details confidentiality and time boundaries.

After this, the time will be yours to talk about whatever you feel might be useful to explore.

I am a qualified Counselling Supervisor, having completed my training at Staffordshire University in 2023. In addition to my supervisory qualifications, I am also 3 years post-qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Keele University.

I am based at Friarswood Clinic, Westlands, Newcastle Under Lyme, which is just a 5 minute drive from Keele University and a 10 minute drive from Staffordshire University.

My approach to supervision is underpinned by person-centred theory, using the seven eyed model, where I prioritise creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for supervisees. This allows for open exploration, personal growth, and the development of professional skills in a way that aligns with your individual needs.

I will usually offer 1.5 hours per month or as per the standard Íø±¬ÃÅ requirements for your particular situation.
