Availability
I currently have limited availability for new clients and offer both online and in-person sessions. My in-person sessions take place at my private practice in Harold Wood, East London, within easy reach of the Elizabeth Line and local transport links.
I work primarily with individual adults (18+), offering weekly or bi-weekly therapy depending on need and preference. My practice hours are as follows:
Monday to Thursday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
I currently have some early-afternoon and early-evening spaces available for online sessions.
Therapy sessions are held via secure video call, telephone, or face-to-face at the practice. All new clients are offered a short consultation to discuss their goals and ensure that we are a good fit before beginning therapy.
I will always update this section if availability changes or when I am due to take time off, so that clients are aware in advance.
Please note that I do not provide a crisis service. If you need immediate support, you can contact your GP, NHS 111, or the Samaritans on 116 123 (available 24 hours a day).

About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, collaborative, and reflective space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic models to meet you where you are, rather than applying a single method.
At the core of my work is the person-centred approach, which values empathy, authenticity, and respect for your unique process. Alongside this, I incorporate insights from psychodynamic, Gestalt, solution-focused, and transpersonal perspectives. This allows us to look at both your present concerns and the deeper patterns that may be shaping how you feel and relate to others.
Therapy with me is a space for self-understanding, healing, and growth. We may focus on themes such as self-esteem, boundaries, relationships, trauma, anxiety, burnout, grief, or life transitions. Together, we explore not just what is difficult, but also your strengths, resilience, and capacity for change.
My intention is to help you reconnect with yourself — to make sense of your story, strengthen your inner resources, and move towards a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and meaningful.
I work with adults (18+) in both short-term and long-term therapy. Sessions are available in person in Harold Wood (East London) or online via secure video call.
Confidentiality, professionalism, and compassion are central to my practice. I work in accordance with the Íø±¬ÃÅ Ethical Framework and receive regular supervision to support the quality and integrity of my work.
Practice description
My private practice, Leyvon Psychotherapy, offers a calm and supportive space for adults seeking to explore emotional challenges, improve self-awareness, and create meaningful change.
I work with individuals from all walks of life, and many clients come to me during periods of transition, uncertainty, or when they feel disconnected from themselves. Common themes include stress, anxiety, trauma, relationships, self-esteem, boundaries, loss, identity, and personal growth.
At Leyvon, my focus is on helping you feel heard, valued, and understood. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a safe and collaborative partnership — one where we explore not only what feels difficult, but also what helps you heal and thrive.
Sessions take place in person at my Harold Wood practice or online via secure video call, offering flexibility and accessibility. The therapy room is designed to create a sense of calm and reflection, allowing you to pause from daily pressures and focus on yourself.
My approach is integrative and person-centred, meaning I adapt my methods to your unique needs and pace. Together, we explore your experiences, patterns, and emotions to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and strengthen your sense of self.
I am an Accredited Psychotherapist (MÍø±¬ÃÅ Accred) with over ten years of clinical experience, and I draw on my previous twenty-year background in education, management, and quality assurance to bring empathy, structure, and professionalism to my practice.
Therapy is an investment in yourself — a space for growth, understanding, and self-compassion. My aim is to support you in reconnecting with your authentic self and creating a life that feels more grounded, balanced, and aligned with who you truly are.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. It’s a gentle introduction — not a test or assessment — but rather a space for you to share your hopes, concerns, and what you’d like to gain from therapy.
I’ll ask some brief questions about your background, current situation, and any previous experience with counselling, so that I can understand how best to support you. We’ll also discuss what you’d like to focus on, and agree on a way of working that feels right for you.
The first session also gives you a sense of how I work, and whether you feel comfortable with my approach. It’s important that you feel safe, understood, and that therapy feels like the right fit for you. There’s no obligation to continue after this initial meeting — it’s a mutual space for reflection and choice.
Sessions last 50 minutes and are available in person at my Harold Wood practice or online via secure video call.
The fee for the initial session is the same as ongoing sessions (£60 per session), and I may offer a reduced rate for trainees or those on lower income — please feel free to enquire if this applies to you.
After the first session, if you decide to continue, we will agree on a regular day and time that works best for you, usually on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
My aim is to make the first session as relaxed and transparent as possible, so you can begin to get a feel for the therapeutic process and what it might offer you.
