About me and my therapy practice
My approach is 'psychodynamic' - which is to say that I'll at least sometimes focus on the ways in which you unconsciously tend to get in your own way in your relationships with yourself, with me, and with the other people in your life. Part of my job is to help you face and own, rather than deflect from, your anxieties - so that you can move beyond them rather than remain curtailed by them. Another part is to share what I notice about patterns you tend to unwittingly repeat - so that you can make conscious choices in your life rather than be driven my unconscious habits.
Our ongoing relationship will be characterised by attempts at; truthfulness, straightforwardness, accountability, understanding, vulnerability, care taking, assertiveness, respect, self-knowledge, overcoming fears, dignity, acceptance, challenge and forgiveness.

Practice description
I work both on line and in person. In person sessions will take place in Enfield Town.
My first session
In our first session we will take about your life to date. We will talk about why you have chosen 'now' to start therapy, and what you want to change and achieve by doing so.
The first session will give you the chance to ask any questions you may have. We can decide together whether we feel that we would work well together.
