About me and my therapy practice
At Holistic Harmony Haven Therapies, I listen because i know how it feels to not be heard, keep going with a smile whilst things are falling apart.
I offer a warm holistic and systemic approach to therapy that recognises the interconnected nature of mind, body, spirit, and relationships. My work is grounded in systemic theory, trauma-informed care, and the principles of PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy), creating a safe, non-judgemental environment where healing and growth can take place.
I view each client within their unique relational, cultural, and spiritual contexts, exploring how life experiences, family systems, and social environments shape their patterns of meaning, behaviour, and emotion. Drawing on systemic, psy-chodynamic, and person-centred models, I support individuals, couples, and families to enhance self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier ways of relating.
My practice integrates reflective dialogue, creative techniques, and mindfulness to help clients regulate emotions, process trauma, and reconnect with their innate resilience. I pay close attention to power, diversity, and difference, adapting interventions to respect each client’s background, identity, and worldview.
In every session, I aim to foster collaboration and empowerment by working with clients rather than on them. This means co-creating goals, exploring patterns together, and encouraging new narratives that support emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being (overall well-being dimensions). My approach embodies compassion, authenticity, and hope, affirming that transformation is possible when people feel seen, heard, and understood.
Practice description
Holistic Harmony Haven Therapies is a calm, nurturing space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s happening in your life, and begin to heal from the inside out. I understand how hard it can be to keep going when life feels heavy or confusing, and how much courage it takes to reach out for support. My aim is to make that first step feel a little lighter.
You can expect sessions that are gentle, grounded, and collaborative. I listen deeply and invite curiosity, helping you explore your story and uncover the patterns that may be shaping your emotions, relationships, or choices. Whether you’re facing anxiety, loss, trauma, family difficulties, or a general sense of being stuck, I’ll meet you with warmth and respect.
I draw on systemic and holistic perspectives to help you connect the different parts of your life, mind, body, spirit, and relationships so that change feels integrated and sustainable. Sessions often include conversation, creative reflection, or mindfulness-based exercises to support emotional regulation and personal growth.
Every person’s journey is unique, so I adapt my approach to suit your needs, pace, and cultural or spiritual background. You don’t have to have all the answers , therapy is a space to explore, question, and rediscover your sense of self.
People who work with me often describe feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to what matters most. My hope is that through our work together, you’ll come to feel genuinely heard, valued, and empowered to move forward with clarity and compassion.
My first session
Before beginning therapy, I offer a free 20–30 minute consultation call. This is a friendly, no-pressure conversation where you can share what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a sense of how I work. It also helps us decide together whether I’m the right fit to support your needs.
If you decide to begin, our work starts with three initial assessment sessions. These early sessions allow us to explore your story in depth, your current challenges, background, relationships, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. Together, we begin identifying themes, strengths, and goals that will guide the direction of our work.
After these first three sessions, we take time to review and reflect. This review helps us decide whether a short-term (6–12 sessions) or longer-term approach feels most helpful for you. Some clients prefer a focused period of work around a particular issue, while others benefit from ongoing therapy to support deeper exploration and sustained change.
Throughout our work, we’ll continue to review progress together, making sure the sessions remain supportive and relevant. Therapy continues for as long as it feels useful, and when it’s time to end, we plan an off-boarding session to reflect on your journey, consolidate learning, and discuss next steps for continued well-being.
My aim is to make every stage, from first contact to completion feel thoughtful, collaborative, and centred on what matters most to you.
