About me and my therapy practice
Mental health is a deeply personal journey that requires care, compassion, and understanding. Seeking support can feel challenging for many reasons, and it’s not always easy to open up and talk about your feelings. You are not alone; your feelings and struggles matter.
I understand that creating a safe and confidential space is essential for fostering a connection with your authentic self. With a non-judgmental approach, my goal is to join you in exploring the root causes of the pain you may be experiencing through your emotions and feelings. Together, we can work toward gaining clarity that supports you in making everyday life decisions with greater confidence and self-awareness.
Practice description
I am an Accredited Counsellor and a Clinical Supervisor, offering both short-term and long-term sessions in-person, online, and via telephone.
I have extensive experience working with South Asian men and women affected by domestic abuse and understanding how cultural/societal pressures and responsibilities, can impact mental health. Experiencing abuse can leave you feeling shame, guilt, and unworthiness. During such difficult and challenging times, it’s important to reach out for support — a space where you can feel safe enough to express and release the emotional impact of your experiences. Counselling can help express suppressed emotions, emphasising that vulnerability is not a weakness. It offers a space to explore identity and self-worth amidst cultural demands.
In addition to this, I work with a range of other issues, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, addiction, relationship conflict, divorce & separation, cultural adjustment, divorce and separation, LGBTQ+ identity and acceptance within the community, childhood trauma, and more.

About me and my therapy practice
As a qualified and experienced Clinical Supervisor, I offer guidance and support to trainee counsellors on placement as well as to newly qualified counsellors. My supervision sessions are typically 90 minutes in length and can be provided online or in-person.
Practice description
I understand that regular supervision is not only a crucial component for counsellors to maintain best practice and professional development, but also an ethical requirement set by governing bodies. Supervision provides a safe and confidential space for reflection, exploration of clinical cases, interventions, and personal growth.
As a supervisor, I offer guidance and support to help counsellors build strong and trusting therapeutic relationships with their clients. Together, we identify areas for growth and development to enhance the quality of care provided.
I also work closely with South Asian trainees on placement and qualified counsellors, supporting them in navigating their clients’ needs using Western therapeutic modalities while staying true to their cultural framework and values.
