About me and my therapy practice
When your relationship feels lonely or full of conflict it can leave you feeling rejected, confused or anxious that it might not last.
Many people struggle to communicate about sensitive topics like unmet needs, family issues or any topic that feels vulnerable. Even well intentioned conversation can turn into an argument or hurt feelings. This might leave you both avoiding certain topics or even each other, adding new tensions on top of old ones.
Perhaps you're navigating neurodivergence, like Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, PDA or Dyspraxia. If so, you might feel like you and your partner are speaking different languages. Trying to understand each others perspective can be challenging when you live in different worlds.
If you're struggling with relationship issues, you're not alone and you don't have to stay stuck.
Couples counselling can help you:
• Improve communication with your partner
• Repair trust after betrayal
• Navigate family issues
• Understand neurodivergence in relationships.
If you'd like to discuss how counselling could help you, get in touch and arrange a free call (no strings attached) or if you're ready we can book your first session.

Ongoing Couples Sessions are usually 60 minutes but if preferred you can continue to have 90 minute sessions or a mix.
Our counselling sessions provide you with a compassionate and personalised opportunity to explore your experiences, build resilience, and create lasting change in your relationships and emotional wellbeing.
My first session
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other better and begin to get and idea of how well use our time together.
We’ll cover the practical stuff like what to do if you’re running late or need to reschedule. I will answer any questions you might have about what to expect and how counselling works.
Some of our time might be talking about your life, this might include your past and family relationships. If you e had counselling before I might ask what was helpful or what wasn’t.
You’ll also have the time to share more about what has been happening and what you’d like to achieve or change by coming to counselling.
By the end of the session we’ll begin forming a plan for how I can support you and what that could look like.
