Practice description

I am an experienced, Íø±¬ÃÅ accredited counsellor who has helped clients through a wide range of issues. These include relationship difficulties and breakdown, bullying and abuse, bereavement and anxiety and depression.

My previous career in Human Resources helps me to support people who are experiencing work-related problems and stress.

My own experience of ill-health enables me to offer empathic understanding of those going through a serious health diagnosis.

I am a qualified and experienced trauma therapist. Using neuroscience and other approaches I can gently help you to explore and understand what has happened to you and why it may be impacting you in the way it does. I will then work with you at your pace to help you move through this and to understand the complex emotions such as shame and guilt that can accompany trauma. Working holistically, taking into account your physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, I can help you move from a place of suffering to a place of healing.

Should you decide to work with me, I will send you a counselling contract to sign and return, together with my privacy statement and a form which asks for your emergency contact details. Counselling cannot proceed until I have received these completed forms.
