About me and my therapy practice
Stepping into counselling is a brave act and I aim to make that journey feel a safe and supportive way of working together.
My practice is built on a foundation of trust, honesty, and respect. I am here to listen deeply and without judgment, creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel truly seen and heard.
I see our time together as a partnership. You bring your life experience, and I bring my training and expertise. We will work together to uncover your inner resources, gain a clearer perspective on your challenges, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Practice description
As a committed Íø±¬ÃÅ member, I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can feel at ease exploring your thoughts and feelings. I understand that taking the first step to reach out for support can be tough, and I'm here to help you through whatever you're facing.
My approach is person-centred, meaning our sessions will be guided entirely by you and your unique experiences. I truly believe you hold the key to your growth, and my role is to support you in finding your way forward.
To ensure our work together is as effective as possible, I also use an integrative approach. This means I draw on a range of therapeutic tools and techniques from other models, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to tailor our sessions to your specific needs.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, loss, relationship issues, or just feeling stuck, I am here to listen. Together, we can explore your concerns at a pace that feels right for you, helping you find clarity and move towards lasting positive change.
My first session
My first session is an introductory one, lasting 50 minutes and is priced at a reduced rate of £35. This is a chance for us to meet and for you to experience what it's like to work with me.
During this time, we can discuss what's on your mind and explore your concerns. It's a low-pressure opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about counselling and how I work. The most important goal is for you to get a sense of whether you feel comfortable with me and if you believe we can work together effectively.
This session helps me understand your needs and how I might best support you. There's no obligation to continue after this session, but if you feel comfortable, we can discuss booking our next appointment.
