My practice offers a safe and supportive space where you can talk openly and feel heard without judgment. I work in an integrative way, combining person-centred counselling with approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and relationship-based methods, tailoring each session to your individual needs.

You can expect warmth, empathy, and honesty from me as we explore the challenges you are facing, whether that鈥檚 anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, or navigating change. Our work together moves at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on building understanding, resilience, and new ways of coping.

My practice is inclusive, affirming, and committed to providing a confidential environment where positive change can take place.

About me and my therapy practice

I鈥檓 a registered M网爆门 counsellor, working with individuals, couples, families, and young people in Horsham, Hove, and Lewes.

Over the years I鈥檝e supported people through many different challenges 鈥 from relationship struggles to life changes and those times when everything feels overwhelming. My background in psychology and psychotherapy, together with my work at organisations like RELATE and Mind UK, has taught me that change is always possible, even when it feels far away.

Therapy offers something different 鈥 a safe, confidential space where you can speak freely and be heard without judgment. My role is to listen with care, offer fresh perspectives, and walk alongside you as you find your own way forward.

I don鈥檛 believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I draw on different approaches 鈥 person-centred, CBT, mindfulness, and relationship-focused methods 鈥 shaping our sessions around your needs. My aim is to help you untangle what feels stuck, build confidence, and find a clearer, calmer path that lasts.

Practice description

I believe therapy should feel like a safe pause in the busyness of life 鈥 a space where you can breathe, reflect, and be truly listened to. My role is not to tell you who you are or what to do, but to walk alongside you as we explore your challenges together.

I work integratively, drawing on person-centred counselling, CBT, mindfulness, and relationship-focused methods, depending on what feels most helpful for you. Whether you鈥檙e dealing with anxiety, low mood, stress, or difficulties in relationships, we move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you.

Clients often describe me as warm, open, and down-to-earth. I welcome individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life, and I am committed to making therapy inclusive, respectful, and accessible. Concessions are available for those who need them.

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and for you to decide if I feel like the right therapist for you.

During the first session, I will invite you to share a little about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. I may ask some background questions to help me understand your situation, but there is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with. We will also talk through the practicalities of therapy, such as confidentiality, boundaries, and scheduling.

The session lasts the same length as a regular appointment, and is charged at the same rate unless we have agreed otherwise in advance. Concessions can be discussed if needed.

About me and my therapy practice

Since qualifying at Brighton University in 2008, I have specialised in couples and relational therapy, gaining wide-ranging experience through my work with RELATE and Mind UK. These roles gave me the privilege of working with couples, families, and individuals facing some of the most common 鈥 yet often most painful 鈥 challenges in life: breakdowns in communication, cycles of conflict, feelings of disconnection, affairs and betrayals, and the pressures that come with family life.

My passion lies in helping people improve the way they relate to one another. For couples, this often means finding new ways of communicating so both partners feel heard, rebuilding trust where it has been damaged, and rediscovering connection after distance or difficulty. With families, it can involve understanding each person鈥檚 needs, strengthening bonds, and creating healthier dynamics at home. Alongside this, I also work with individuals who want to explore their own relationship patterns, past or present, and create positive change moving forward.

I believe we all encounter times in life that feel overwhelming. While friends or family can provide support, there are moments when you need a space that is truly yours 鈥 confidential, non-judgemental, and safe. Therapy offers exactly that.

My role is not to provide quick fixes or ready-made answers, but to walk alongside you. Together, we can untangle the difficulties, make sense of what feels stuck, and explore new perspectives. Whether you are seeking to repair a relationship, strengthen family connections, or better understand yourself, my aim is to help you create lasting change and a more authentic, fulfilling way of living.

Practice description

I offer both in-person sessions in Lewes and online therapy for individuals, couples, and families. My specialism is in couples and relational therapy, drawing on my experience with RELATE and Mind UK, where I supported people through challenges such as conflict, disconnection, betrayal, and family difficulties.

Clients can expect a safe, supportive space to talk openly and be heard without judgment. I work integratively, using approaches such as person-centred counselling, CBT, mindfulness, and relational methods like the Gottman approach, tailoring each session to your needs.

Therapy with me is about more than short-term relief 鈥 it鈥檚 about building trust, gaining clarity, and creating lasting positive change in your life and relationships.

My first session

I see the first session as a gentle introduction 鈥 a chance for us to meet and for you to get a sense of whether I feel like the right counsellor for you. There is no pressure to share more than you feel ready to; you are welcome to bring as much or as little as you wish.

During this session, I will invite you to talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. I may ask a few background questions to help me understand your situation, but the focus is always on you and your pace. I will also explain how I work, what confidentiality means in practice, and answer any questions you may have.

The first session lasts the same length as a regular appointment and is charged at the same rate, unless we have agreed a concession in advance. Some clients choose to continue straight away, while others prefer to take time to reflect before deciding 鈥 either is absolutely fine.

My aim is that you leave the first session feeling listened to, supported, and clearer about whether therapy with me feels like the right next step for you.
