About me and my therapy practice

Hello, and welcome.

When you work with me, you’ll find a safe, supportive, and confidential space where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are valued and respected. My approach is compassionate and non-judgemental, placing you at the centre of the work we do together.

I am a qualified Integrative Person-Centred Counsellor with a BSc (Hons) in Counselling. My practice draws on a blend of Person-Centred principles, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and creative techniques, including the use of art. This allows you to express yourself in a way that feels natural and meaningful to you.

I have extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and adults, and I adapt my approach to meet each person’s emotional, developmental, and psychological needs. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, big emotions, life transitions, grief, or simply need a space to be heard, I am here to support you.

Together, we will work at your pace to explore what matters to you - helping you to build confidence, understand and manage your emotions, and move forward with greater clarity and peace of mind.

Practice description

I am a Person-Centred counsellor who also works creatively, using art and writing to help clients express themselves in ways that feel natural and authentic. Alongside this, I may integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)  and Mindfulness to support emotional regulation and well-being.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MÍø±¬ÃÅ), I adhere fully to the Íø±¬ÃÅ’s Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, and I am committed to providing a safe, respectful, and confidential therapeutic space.

My practice is fully insured, and sessions are 60 minutes in length for adults and 45 minutes for under 18s.

My first session

I offer an introductory assessment session, either face-to-face or remotely, free of charge. This session lasts up to 30 minutes and gives us the opportunity to explore what has brought you to counselling, discuss what you’re hoping to gain, and decide whether we feel comfortable working together. I will also take some basic personal details and explain how I work, including confidentiality and what you can expect from the process.
