About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Inez, and I鈥檓 a counsellor offering a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space. Life can sometimes feel heavy and overwhelming, and it鈥檚 not always easy to share what you鈥檙e going through with friends or family. Counselling gives you the chance to pause, breathe, and explore your thoughts and feelings with someone who will really listen.

You don鈥檛 need to know anything about therapy to begin. My role is simply to support you, offering warmth and understanding as you find your way through whatever you are going through.

People come to me for many different reasons. Some are struggling with anxiety, low mood, or feelings of loneliness. Others are going through big life changes, such as a divorce, moving house, or starting something new. Stress and overwhelm are also common, whether from work pressures, family responsibilities, or even the day-to-day challenges of keeping up with administrative tasks and technology.

I also have experience supporting people through grief and bereavement, as well as working with autism and neurodiversity. I welcome anyone who might find the world overwhelming at times 鈥 including those who don鈥檛 always find it easy to put feelings into words.

I have a strong interest in Polyvagal Theory. This perspective helps me support clients in understanding how their nervous system responds to stress and in finding ways to feel more grounded, safe, and connected.

I am bilingual in Polish and English.

Practice description

Every person鈥檚 journey is different. For some, counselling is about finding relief in the present moment and having space to offload. For others, it鈥檚 about exploring things more deeply, making sense of the past, and finding new ways forward.

In our sessions, we might gently explore how you are feeling, look at patterns in your relationships or life, and discover ways of calming your mind and body when stress feels too much. Sometimes, words are not enough 鈥 and when it feels right, I also like to bring in creativity, arts, or even time outdoors in nature as part of the healing process.

What matters most is that this is your space, shaped around your needs, your pace, and what feels supportive for you.

You can choose how we meet: face-to-face in Edinburgh (EH9), online, by phone, or through 鈥渨alk and talk鈥 sessions outdoors.

I pride myself on being ethical, professional, and approachable, working in line with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (网爆门) guidelines.
