About me and my therapy practice
Hello I am Sue, a Íø±¬ÃÅ registered Humanistic Integrative counsellor and Psychotherapist. I offer in-person counselling to adult individuals in my comfortable therapy room in Farnborough, or online via Zoom.
Are you feeling you no longer enjoy the things you used to love? suffering with low mood?
Have you lost direction, feeling overwhelmed and close to burnout? dealing with anxiety?
Reeling from a loss and struggling to deal with grief after a bereavement?
Are you finding yourself stuck in a repeating pattern with no idea how to break free? Looking to gain some awareness as to why you react the way you do?
Full of uncertainty and looking for a new perspective that will allow for change?
Affected by anxiety or depression and want support to explore your thoughts and feelings?
Together we can develop your ability to view yourself with curiosity and not judgment so you can grow in self-compassion; and discover the root causes of your concerns. I aim to build trust with you through my belief that therapy is a dialogue; so we will always work at a pace you feel comfortable with.
I offer a respectful and reflective space where I will listen with focus and empathy as you share your story. Through having this consistent support we can find you the tools to help you get on top of difficulties. I tailor my approach to bring the greatest benefit to you. There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to counselling, as the best therapy for you will always be as unique as you are. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to bring the healing foundation needed for positive change.
Timing is everything in therapy; if you are ready to make a change I offer a free 30-minute introductory chat to see if I am the right counsellor for yo
Practice description
I am an experienced, fully insured counsellor and psychotherapist.
Based near Farnborough, Aldershot and Farnham, I offer in-person counselling as well as online therapy across the UK.
I understand how vulnerable it can feel to reach out and ask for help, and sometimes finding and meeting our emotions is hard enough, let alone adding to the mix having to talk about them too! I have been lucky enough to have had therapy in my early 30's after struggling with my own losses and great personal change and the postive life changing effects and healing I experienced from it showed me that it was worth finding the courage to take that first step.
I believe that we all can greatly benefit from gaining this greater understanding of ourselves.
Our therapy space will be your time to meet regularly with a counsellor trained in listening with sensitivity and empathy to support the exploration of emotions that can hold you ‘hostage’ if left unexpressed; and who also detects patterns of behaviour by being able to step back and look at the whole of the content you bring. Learning to view yourself with curiosity and non-judgement, helps to increase self-compassion and improve the relationship you have with yourself and others.
We can work together to:
• Explore your life experiences, and how they might have affected how you relate to the people in your life
• Discover how ways of being in the past might no longer be serving you; find new ways you can support yourself that are healthier ways to cope
• Look at the meaning in your life and what choices you can make to bring yourself to living closer in line with your values
• What might be keeping you 'stuck' and find new perspectives that will allow for change
Let's find the right questions for you, leading to answers that connect to the strength already inside yourself.

Hello, I am Sue a Íø±¬ÃÅ registered Humanistic counsellor working with individual adults aged 20 years and above. I work online, by phone and in person.
Many people face difficulties in life that leave them feeling they no longer enjoy the things they used to love. Together we can develop your ability to view yourself with curiosity and not judgment so you can grow in self-compassion; improving the relationship you have with yourself and others in your life. Let’s find a new perspective that will allow for change.
