About me and my therapy practice

 I specialise in supporting people who are experiencing stress and are going through emotional distress. The connection is key to feeling safe. Whether you are feeling anxious and in a flight/fight state, or low and numb, it is your unique reaction to your situation. Counselling is a process of understanding your own reactions and when you feel danger or safe. Validating your emotions and understanding your responses is an exploration that we will develop. I am with you psychologically, attuning to your personal perception and experiences. By listening to gain an understanding of what it is like to walk alongside you, a connection is formed. The relationship is key in counselling and forms the foundation of trust. Feeling understood, heard and accepted, supports you in being able to talk about your feelings in a confidential space.

The process of change occurs through a safe connection, feeling accepted and being able to be yourself with another person.

You are your own expert of yourself. Trust your gut instinct.

Practice description

  1. Initial contact

  3. Sent a counselling contract for your consent
  4. Arrange a suitable time for you to begin your sessions.
