About me and my therapy practice
Hi I'm Catherine
a counsellor working with a person centered approach.
This means, you are encouraged to bring your own issues each week, I am led by you where I can help you to explore the feelings you experience from these issues. I offer empathy, compassion, kindness and total focus on you within a safe, confidential therapy space.
This can help you to talk through, or reflect on, and begin the challenging process of feeling better in yourself, building on resilience and developing a self awareness to what challenges you face. I don't offer advice, I will never Judge you or have an opinion, this ensures you are free to explore any concern or difficulties you are experiencing emotionally, and physically.
I will help support you to process and take steps forward from memories of trauma, experienced through other stages in your life. You may have lost your sense of self over time and want to regain confidence. It might feel out of reach at the moment but together we will share and explore ideas and strategies, to help you overcome and manage these hard feelings, emotions, and barriers that hold you back from living your life to the full in the way you would like to.
