About me and my therapy practice
Outdoor Therapist offering an alternative to traditional in the room therapy. I am a qualified counsellor, and an accredited Wilderness Therapist with additional training in working with children and young people. I have over 5 years experience working therapeutically in nature with both adults and young people on a one to one basis and group settings, specialising in domestic abuse, holding people psychologically safe in wild spaces. From a person centred perspective I facilitate a safe non judgmental space allowing you to reconnect with your self and nature. Like nature I believe that people thrive in the right environment.
Early into my therapeutic training I recognised that I wanted to take my practice outside. I have built up knowledge, understanding and awareness in the area, creating a solid foundation enabling me to ethically work therapeutically in nature.

About me and my therapy practice
As a person-centred therapist, my priority is to offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you feel truly heard, accepted, and understood. I believe each person has the capacity for growth and change when given the right conditions, and I aim to walk alongside you as you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.
In our work together, I won’t direct or tell you what to do. Instead, I’ll offer empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, helping you to connect more deeply with yourself and discover your own ways forward. My role is to create a supportive environment in which you can gain greater clarity, self-acceptance, and confidence to live more in line with your values.
I offer sessions in person, online, and outdoors, giving you the flexibility to choose a setting that feels most comfortable. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, loss, self-esteem, relationships, or simply looking to explore who you are, I’ll provide a space where your voice matters and your story is respected.
If you feel ready to take the next step, please reach out—I’d be glad to discuss how we might work together.
Practice description
As a person-centred therapist, I offer a warm and compassionate space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions. I believe that each person has the capacity for growth when they are truly heard and accepted, and my role is to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences and find your own way forward.
I work with adults, young people, and children, adapting my approach to meet individual needs. With children and younger clients, I often bring creativity into sessions, using play, art, and other expressive activities to help them communicate and explore feelings in ways that feel natural and safe. Creative approaches can also be valuable for adults who want to connect with their emotions in new ways.
My background includes working in a hospice, where I supported people through grief, loss, and end-of-life experiences; in schools, offering a safe space for children and young people to share what they are going through; and with individuals affected by domestic abuse, helping them to rebuild a sense of safety, self-worth, and trust. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the importance of empathy, patience, and respect in the therapeutic relationship.
I support clients with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, and life transitions. Sessions are available in a comfortable indoor space, online, and outdoors for those who feel more grounded in nature. Outdoor therapy can offer a calming and restorative environment, opening up different ways of experiencing the process.
Above all, my aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you—or your child—feel truly seen and understood, and from there, begin to move towards the changes that feel right for you.
My first session
In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and giving you the chance to see how it feels to work with me. It’s an opportunity for you to share what has brought you to therapy, ask any questions, and decide whether this feels like the right fit.
I don’t carry out a formal assessment, but I will gently invite you to talk about what you’d like from therapy and what feels most important to you right now. We can also discuss practicalities such as session times, frequency, and whether you’d prefer to meet indoors, online, or outdoors.
Some clients find the first session a little daunting, so I aim to keep it relaxed and at your pace. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable. From there, we can begin to shape our work together.
