About me and my therapy practice
A Warm, Empathic, and Relational Approach
As a highly experienced Integrative Psychotherapist, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your inner world and begin to make sense of what鈥檚 been difficult or overwhelming. Whether you鈥檙e feeling anxious, grieving, navigating trauma, or simply unsure of your next steps, I鈥檓 here to walk alongside you, gently, respectfully, and with deep care.
I work relationally, drawing from both Person-Centred and Psychodynamic perspectives to help illuminate the unconscious patterns and relational dynamics that may be shaping your current struggles. This isn鈥檛 about pathologising you, it鈥檚 about making room for your full humanity, understanding how you came to be where you are, and discovering new ways of being that feel more aligned, empowered, and free.
I believe healing begins not just with insight, but with connection, to self, to others, and to the parts of us we鈥檝e had to silence to survive. My aim is to help you reconnect with your authentic self, with kindness and curiosity, so you can live more fully and make choices that feel right for you.
What Makes Me Different
Clients often tell me they feel truly seen and heard in our sessions. My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative, I鈥檓 not a blank screen, nor do I offer quick fixes. Instead, I bring real presence, emotional depth, and a deep respect for your unique process. If you're looking for a therapist who is both professional and human, someone who will walk beside you without judgement, you're in the right place. You're welcome to reach out via WhatsApp Business for a personal and easy way to connect.
Practice description
A Space to Breathe, Reflect, and Rediscover Yourself
In a world that often asks us to keep going, no matter how overwhelmed, disconnected, or lost we feel therapy can be a rare space where you鈥檙e invited to slow down and really listen to yourself. My practice offers just that: a calm, supportive environment where your thoughts, emotions, and experiences are met with respect, compassion, and curiosity.
I work integratively, which means I tailor our work together to suit your unique needs rather than fitting you into a rigid model. My approach is relational, meaning I believe the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful source of healing. Through our connection, we can explore the stories you鈥檝e carried, the patterns that keep repeating, and the parts of yourself that long to be seen, heard, and understood.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, low self-worth, past trauma, or a deep sense of "something's not right," we鈥檒l work together to gently untangle what鈥檚 beneath the surface. I won鈥檛 rush you, fix you, or talk over you, I鈥檒l sit with you, fully present, as we make space for healing and growth.
More Than Just Talking
Therapy with me isn鈥檛 just about insight, it鈥檚 about reconnection: to your feelings, your needs, and the life you want to live. Clients often say they appreciate my ability to be both grounded and intuitive, gentle yet honest. I welcome all of who you are, even the parts you鈥檙e not sure are welcome. You're not alone here, and change is possible, even if it feels far away right now.
My first session
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, especially when you're not sure what to expect. The first session is a gentle starting point, a space for us to meet, explore what brings you to therapy, and begin getting a sense of whether we feel like the right fit to work together.
There鈥檚 no pressure to share everything straight away. You鈥檙e welcome to bring whatever feels most important, or simply talk about what鈥檚 been difficult lately. I may ask a few questions to get a clearer understanding of your history, current challenges, and hopes for therapy, but this is always done at your pace and with care.
The initial session is charged at the same rate as ongoing sessions, and typically lasts 50 minutes. I don鈥檛 require any formal assessments or questionnaires beforehand, though I may invite you to share basic information via email or a brief intake form if helpful. What matters most in this first meeting is that you feel safe, heard, and not rushed.
This session is also a chance for you to ask any questions, about how I work, the therapy process, or anything else that鈥檚 on your mind. I鈥檒l explain a little about how I approach therapy and what a typical session might involve, but the focus will always remain on you and your needs.
If we decide to continue working together, we can talk about the next steps and agree on a regular time that suits you. If it doesn鈥檛 feel like the right match, that鈥檚 completely okay, I鈥檒l be happy to suggest alternative support if needed.

About me and my therapy practice
As an Integrative therapist, I draw on a wide range of perspectives including Person Centred and Psychodynamic theories which are the most influential in my approach to counselling. Drawing on these modalities, I will help you to explore and uncover your unconscious thoughts, feelings and behaviours which effect your life in the here and now. This process will help bring about your innate ability to harness your own internal wisdom and the answers therein in response to the challenges you face.
I believe that people are, by nature, inherently 鈥済ood鈥, but that difficult experiences can force us to develop certain behaviours, known as creative adaptations. These adaptations are designed to help us cope and survive psychologically in suboptimal environmental conditions. However, these adaptations often leave us feeling disconnected from the world and sometimes even ourselves.
Difficulties and areas that I can support you with include but are not limited to: anxiety, worry, rumination, depression, relationship issues, challenges in forming new intimate relationships, establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries, understanding better the differences between appropriate and inappropriate behaviour and communication, loneliness, exposure to a traumatic experience or ongoing traumatic situation, obsessive thoughts or behaviours, perfectionism, procrastination, identity issues, abuse, study skills, life skills, choosing a direction in life, body image, loss, grief, death, difficulties relating to gender, sexuality or racism, a life crises, and dealing with general difficulties related to your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Practice description
I use my expertise to focus on supporting you to find your way back to your authentic self. This will help you become more contented, a natural outcome of truly being yourself. Supporting you in building resilience and developing the tools to help you face the often-intense feelings that life brings, will form a central part of our work together and your process of healing.
By offering a confidential, warm, and welcoming space for you to explore your difficulties and problems, I endeavour to make you feel respected, understood, and valued, so that together we can work towards the changes you want to make in your life.

My first session
Together we will look at the issue you are struggling with, come to understand it better, including why it has left you feeling and coping in particular ways. From here we will help you discover new, healthier responses, ways that promote psychological growth and healing.
As a relationally orientated therapist coming into therapy with me you can expect an active two-way conversation to unfold, while you will also be given plenty of space to express yourself fully and connect with increasing depth to your present moment experience. Carl Rogers, founder of person-centred therapy commented, 鈥淭he curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change鈥. And so, with that in mind I really do welcome you just as you are!
