About me and my therapy practice
There are times in life when things feel overwhelming, confusing, or simply hard to manage. You may feel stuck, unsure how to move forward, or struggling to make sense of your thoughts and emotions. In counselling, I can offer a supportive and understanding space where we explore these feelings together, helping you gain clarity, identify what matters to you, and find your own solutions. Our work will progress at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you, with me by your side throughout the journey.
While we may not always be able to change your circumstances, it is possible to change the way you view them and to develop greater resilience. In a confidential, non-judgemental, and empathetic environment, I will help you explore new perspectives and build the skills to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
Even small steps towards positive change can create meaningful transformation over time. Taking that first step can feel daunting, but you don’t have to face it alone. I will work with you, providing you with acceptance, empathy, and support, empowering you to make choices that are right for you.
Practice description
I am a Íø±¬ÃÅ Accredited Counsellor specialising in Person-Centred Therapy. This non-directive approach places you at the heart of our sessions, recognising you as the expert in your own life and the person who truly knows how you feel. I provide a calm, confidential, and safe space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace.
In our sessions, we will work together to help you better understand your feelings and identify ways to make positive changes in your life. Counselling is a collaborative process: I will support and guide you without judgement, allowing you to reflect, gain insight, and develop strategies to cope with challenges. There is no set agenda—you decide what we focus on, and the pace of progress is entirely yours.
I have extensive experience as a counsellor, working with clients from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences. I am committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment where everyone feels valued and understood, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, ability, or mental health experience. I tailor my approach to meet each individual’s unique needs, ensuring that my practice is sensitive, culturally aware, and supportive of diverse perspectives.
I am fully insured and registered.
Reduced rates are available for students and trainee counsellors.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation so we can connect, talk about what’s brought you to counselling, and explore your goals and expectations. This is a chance for you to ask any questions and for us to decide together if working together feels right.
In our first session, we’ll create a safe and welcoming space for you to share your thoughts and feelings. We’ll go over a counselling agreement, discuss what you can expect from me, and begin to build a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship. This first session is all about helping you feel comfortable and confident in the counselling process.
Regular weekly sessions are offered, providing ongoing support tailored to your needs and pace, so you can continue exploring, reflecting, and working towards the changes you want to make.

About me and my therapy practice
If you are considering changing your supervisor or would like some additional supervision to support and enhance your practice, I would be happy to offer a warm, collaborative space for reflection and professional growth. I have experience working with a diverse range of clients, which has given me a solid understanding of the counselling profession and a multi-perspectival view of therapeutic work.
I am nearing completion of the CPCAB Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision and am currently offering a discounted rate of £20 per hour while I finalise my training. From January 2026, I will also be offering discounted supervision to student and trainee counsellors.
My approach is person-centred and collaborative, founded on equality, openness, and mutual respect. Together, we will work to promote your professional development, maintain the quality and effectiveness of your client work, and ensure you feel supported, confident, and resourced in your role as a therapist.
Practice description
As a Person-Centred Therapist and Clinical Supervisor, I offer a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where supervisees can grow in confidence, reflect deeply on their practice, and develop their unique therapeutic identity. Grounded in the values of empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, my supervision practice is a safe and nurturing environment for exploration, learning, and professional development.
I work from the Functional Model of Supervision, which provides a clear and balanced framework to support supervisees across the three key functions of supervision — Formative (learning and development), Normative (professional standards and ethical practice), and Restorative (emotional support and self-care). This model allows us to attend to both your professional growth and personal wellbeing, ensuring that you feel supported, resourced, and empowered in your client work.
Supervision with me is collaborative and responsive — I believe that each supervisee brings their own wisdom, strengths, and style to the process. My role is to walk alongside you, offering curiosity, challenge, and care in equal measure. Together, we can explore your work in a way that deepens self-awareness, builds resilience, and enhances therapeutic effectiveness.
I welcome counsellors and psychotherapists at all stages of their professional journey — from trainees seeking a safe base for reflection and learning, to experienced practitioners looking for a space to sustain and refresh their practice.
I can offer discounted rates for student / trainee counsellors from January 2026.

My first session
During our first supervision session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a trusting, collaborative relationship. We’ll discuss what you’re hoping to gain from supervision and explore your current stage of professional development, so that the work we do together feels relevant and supportive of where you are in your journey. We’ll also establish a clear supervision contract — agreeing on practicalities such as frequency, confidentiality, and ways of working — and explore boundaries and expectations to ensure a safe, ethical, and respectful space. Together, we’ll identify your individual needs as a counsellor, so that supervision can both support your growth and help you sustain yourself in your client work.
