About me and my therapy practice
Hello there, pleasure to meet you and many thanks for reading my profile, my name is Ayaz and I am passionate about helping children, adults, and families overcome difficulties they are experiencing in life.
We all at times need support to help us through the challenges of life. My approach is a collaborative one, where I join my clients on a journey of change and understanding they are often seeking. I do this through the principles of respect, compassion, non judgement and most importantly I am committed to helping others.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you and take this journey alongside you!
My first session
Our first session will help us both to understand the nature of your difficulties and this will be an opportunity for us to explore what is going on to ensure I fully understand what your hopes are from accessing counselling. I use outcome measures as part of the work to give us an additional perspective and I often use these to monitor the progress of the work. Once the assessment stage is complete, I agree goals with my client forming a treatment plan and this is the focus of future sessions.
