About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to my page.
Thank you for taking the time to reach out; I know that it's not always easy. Choosing the right therapist is an important decision, so I hope this information helps you get a sense of me and whether we might be a good fit.
I am a qualified Psychosexual therapist with a strong foundation in Psychodynamic therapy. I specialise in helping individuals and couples navigate intimate and sexual concerns, including sexual difficulties, relationship challenges, shame, and trauma.
Many people find it difficult to talk about sexual and intimate concerns. I provide a safe, non-judgemental space where these conversations can happen with compassion and understanding.
Psychosexual therapy addresses the connection between psychological, emotional, and physical aspects of sexuality and intimacy. It can help with sexual dysfunction, relationship difficulties, sexual identity questions, trauma affecting intimacy, and general concerns about sexual wellbeing.
This approach acknowledges that sexual difficulties are rarely just physical. They are often connected to our emotions, past experiences, and relationship dynamics. My way of working is gentle, practical, and focused on helping you develop a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with your sexuality and intimate connections.
I believe that creating a trusting, honest therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. Together, we can explore patterns that may no longer serve you, helping you develop greater self-awareness and more fulfilling relationships.

Practice description
I have a quiet, comfortable counselling room available in Glasgow City Centre which I use for in-person appointments.
Alternatively, I offer therapy online, having found this technique to be a particularly accessible and comfortable way for people to engage with therapy. Many clients find it easier to discuss intimate and personal topics from the comfort and privacy of their own space, which can be especially important when exploring sexual and relationship concerns. This approach also means that geography doesn't need to be a barrier to finding the right therapeutic support.
I am fully insured and a PVG scheme member for working with both Adults and Children.
I have worked for a number of voluntary and community organisations over the years including with clients affected by drug and alcohol issues and criminal justice matters.
The values I strive towards are warmth, inclusivity, honesty, understanding and congruence. I practice this in my commitment to continued personal and professional development, particularly with regards to cultural understanding and anti-racism. The ways that I do this are collaborating with people from marginalised communities and diverse heritages, reading and learning as well as from continued training.

My first session
Whether you're facing specific sexual difficulties, relationship challenges, or broader concerns about intimacy and connection, I work collaboratively with you to understand and address what brings you to therapy.
After our initial consultation, our first regular session involves getting to know you and understanding your story. I want to know about your experiences and relationships, especially those that led you to therapy. This helps me understand not just what you're experiencing now, but the broader context of your life and relationships
My sessions cost £55 (£65 for specialist forensic work) and last 50 minutes. I see clients once a week and regularly review with them how they feel therapy is going.
Depending on the issue(s) and clients' preferences, I am able to work either short or longer-term.
