- Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling
I also attend regular and varied training, which has included sessions or courses on trauma, DBT skills, the impact of sexual violence, birth trauma, baby loss, postnatal depression, amongst others.
Alongside my counselling work in private practice, I also offer Clinical Supervision to other helping professionals, and I am the Clinical Lead for a counselling service charity in Winchester.
My first session
The first session is a chance for us to meet and get a sense of whether working together feels right. I’ll invite you to talk about what’s brought you to therapy, and we can begin to explore what you’re hoping for – whether that’s feeling more like yourself, making sense of something, or just having space to think things through.
There’s no pressure to go into everything straight away – we’ll work at your pace. I’ll be listening not just to what you say, but to how things feel, so we can start to notice what might be going on beneath the surface.
Together, we’ll shape the work around what matters to you, and how you’d like therapy to support you. Over time, this can become a space to make sense of things, feel more connected to yourself, and find new ways forward.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer relational, supportive supervision that provides a dedicated space for you to reflect on your practice, explore clinical challenges, and consider your own needs as a therapist or helping professional. My approach is collaborative and grounded, with room for both professional development and emotional support.
Alongside my private practice, I’m the Clinical Lead of a counselling service in Winchester. I bring over 14 years of experience across mental health and wellbeing roles, including as a counsellor, clinical supervisor, crisis practitioner, and service manager. I’ve worked in young people’s services, Higher Education wellbeing, rape crisis settings, and provided brief therapy for clients in the film and TV industry.
Practice description
I hold a Diploma in Supervision and offer a flexible, supportive space for reflection, growth, and ethical exploration. I have experience supervising qualified counsellors working with both adults and children, trainee counsellors, mental health practitioners, and non-clinical wellbeing staff across a range of settings.
Supervision is available in person (Eastleigh, Thursdays and Fridays) or online throughout the week. I offer both individual and group supervision and adapt my approach to meet your needs, modality, and stage of practice.
Fees:
- Individual supervision: £60/hour
- Group supervision: Rates available on request
- Reduced fees for Level 4 & 5 trainees - please
Please feel free to get in touch to ask questions or arrange an informal initial chat.
My first session
In our first supervision session, we’ll take time to explore your current practice or training context, your hopes and expectations for supervision, and any specific areas you'd like to focus on. We’ll also talk about how you like to work, your modality or placement requirements (if applicable), and what kind of support feels most useful to you.
This session is also a chance to see whether the relationship feels like a good fit — there’s space to ask questions and reflect on whether my approach suits your needs. I’ll share how I work as a supervisor, and we’ll look at contracting, confidentiality, and practical details such as frequency and format.
The first session is charged at the usual rate.
