About me and my therapy practice
Many people long for a nonjudgmental space where they can talk openly, feel heard, and simply be themselves. I offer a warm, empathic environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
I offer both short- and long-term therapy, working integratively to build a trusting relationship. Together, we may explore attachment patterns, relationships, and current challenges. I can also share practical tools, such as mindfulness, to help ease distress and support emotional regulation. Over time, our work can also become a space to make meaning of your experiences and reconnect with your sense of purpose.
Over time, we might look at how past experiences shape the present and gently explore patterns that no longer serve you. My approach draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Inner Child Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Person-Centred Counselling.
I welcome and value different ways of experiencing the world. Being neurodiversity-affirming means I鈥檒l meet you where you are and support you to be fully yourself in our sessions.
Clients often describe feeling more able to make sense of their experiences, release pain and resentment from the past, and build confidence in themselves and their lives.
Practice description
In my practice, I aim to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can reflect, make sense of experiences, and begin to find new ways forward. Clients often speak about feeling genuinely heard, gently supported, and thoughtfully challenged in ways that help them grow.
Here鈥檚 what some of my clients have said about their experience of therapy with me (shared with permission):
鈥淔rom our first session, Christine made me feel completely at ease. She helped me recognise my own needs and understand how past events continue to affect me. Ten months on, I feel calmer, happier, and kinder to myself. I鈥檝e made real changes in my life, and I鈥檓 truly grateful for her guidance.鈥
鈥淐hristine is an exceptional therapist with a deep, intuitive understanding of people. She creates a safe, honest, and supportive space, listens deeply, and offers thoughtful insights that gently challenge you in the best way. She has a unique gift for naming what鈥檚 beneath the surface and helping you connect the dots, making healing and growth feel accessible and empowering.鈥:
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute phone call before booking, so you can ask any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
The first session is a gentle opportunity for us to get to know each other. There鈥檚 no pressure to share more than you鈥檙e ready to. It鈥檚 a chance for you to talk a little about what鈥檚 bringing you to therapy and what you might like to focus on, and for us to think together about how we might work going forward.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist (PGDip- M网爆门) and work with both adults and CYP. I have Certificate in Clinical Supervision (online and in person).
I work in a person centered way but lean towards the psychodynamic- exploring attachment systems, roles, relationships and parts. I also believe in providing clients with coping strategies such as relaxation techniques and exploration of mindfulness practices.
I have been a university lecturer and supervisor on both BSC and Post Graduate programmes in Counselling and Psychotherapy and offer supervision to front line non-therapeutic staff in a charity.
I have significant experience supporting families struggling with effects of addiction and have worked for Bereavement Service offering systemic support for children who are bereaved.
I run a busy private practice with adults and CYP and offer therapeutic teaching services supporting children who struggle to access education and their parents and schools.
Practice description
My supervision style is warm and open, using the seven eyed model of supervision. I believe in sharing supervision theory with supervisees where there is interest. This practice I find really helps supervisees to get the most out of their sessions!
