About me and my therapy practice
Available Online & In-Person (Brighton & Hove)
I’m Isabel — a fully qualified counsellor, psychotherapist (MSc) and clinical supervisor, with over 15 years experience. I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Íø±¬ÃÅ) and offer sessions in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
I work with adults and young people from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and life experiences. Whether you’re looking for face-to-face sessions in Brighton & Hove, or prefer the flexibility of online therapy (Zoom, WhatsApp, or email), I provide a safe, confidential, and supportive space to explore whatever you need.
If you’d like to explore working together, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to answer your questions or arrange an initial free of charge consultation (30 minutes).
Online Therapy
I’m fully trained and certified to work therapeutically online and I’ve been doing this for over 15 years - both in private practice and with charities, including therapeutic trauma work. I offer sessions through Zoom, WhatsApp, telephone and email.
Background & Experience
Alongside my private practice, I have worked with several charitable organisations, including Mankind (supporting men who have experienced sexual abuse), Cruse Bereavement Care and YMCA (where I provided school-based counselling as well as support through local projects such as canine-assisted therapy and email counselling for young people). I have also worked with As You Are Centre and BHT Threshold (women’s project).

About me and my therapy practice
Supportive and collaborative supervision grounded in the 7-eyed model. English, Portuguese and Spanish. MSc Psychotherapy with 15 years clinical experience in private practice and with charity organisations. My supervision approach is grounded in the Seven-Eyed Model, which explores multiple layers of the therapeutic process—focusing on the client, the therapist, the supervisor, their relationships, and the wider systemic context. I work collaboratively and am also informed by the Integrative Developmental Model, offering support to both newly qualified and experienced counsellors.
With over 15 years of experience as a humanistic-integrative counsellor and psychotherapist (MSc), I now bring this depth of knowledge to my work as a supervisor. I am a registered member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ, NCPS, and UPCA.
I offer therapy and supervision in person, via online video, and by telephone - modalities for which I have received extensive training. I work in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
My practice includes working with adults and young people from diverse national and cultural backgrounds, addressing a wide range of issues. I have extensive experience in supporting clients with PTSD and complex PTSD, including those who have experienced sexual trauma, bereavement, addiction, and abuse.
Alongside my private practice, I have also worked for a number of specialist charity organisations over the years, deepening my understanding of trauma-informed care and community-based therapeutic work.
