About me and my therapy practice
I have an understanding of the unique challenges LGBTQ+ individuals face, & recognise that societal discrimination, exclusion, and personal rejection or hostility can cause/contribute to internalised stigma and shame. I am committed to working in a non-discriminatory way, & to creating a welcoming, inclusive space where everyone feels respected and valued.
Practice description
Therapy can offer a transformative space where experiences can be understood, where difficult and painful feelings can be explored, and where new ways of doing and being can be discovered.
I am an integrative therapist, and aim to offer a non-judgemental, calm, collaborative, compassionate and safe therapeutic space.
I have also worked in a variety of roles in health and social care since 2003, including advocacy and service user involvement. I follow the Íø±¬ÃÅ Ethical Framework and the UKCP Code of Ethics.
