About me and my therapy practice

I offer therapy online and by telephone, providing flexible and accessible support across the UK including Birmingham, London, Manchester, Cardiff and Leeds. My practice is rooted in person-centred theory, based on empathy, respect and a belief in your capacity for growth and change. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, supported and able to explore what matters to you, at your own pace.

I work psychotherapeutically, offering both short-term and long-term therapy depending on your needs. Short-term work can help with specific challenges such as anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship issues or major life changes. Longer-term therapy can support deeper exploration of self-understanding, trauma recovery, identity or recurring patterns that affect wellbeing.

My approach is integrative, drawing from a range of therapeutic models to meet you as an individual. I incorporate trauma-informed principles, psychoeducation and parts work to help develop emotional regulation, self-awareness and resilience. Parts work involves recognising and understanding different internal aspects of self, such as protective, wounded or reactive parts, to bring greater clarity and compassion to your experiences.

My integrative model includes elements of Gestalt, psychodynamic, transactional analysis and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Gestalt supports present-moment awareness; psychodynamic work explores unconscious patterns; transactional analysis clarifies communication and roles; CBT offers practical tools for managing thoughts and behaviours.

Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your goals, whether you wish to process trauma, improve relationships, strengthen coping strategies or reconnect with your values and identity. Working online and by telephone allows for consistency and flexibility, especially for those balancing health, caring or accessibility needs. I offer a free 20-minute discovery call so you can ask questions and decide whether working together feels right

Practice description

Do you ever feel like you don’t quite fit in because of your background, your health, or the way life’s unfolded? Maybe you’re living with a chronic condition, adjusting to sight loss, feeling burnt out, or carrying the weight of trauma, anxiety, depression or low self-esteem. You might be navigating identity concerns, relationship challenges or major life transitions.

I support adults and young people aged 16 and over, including those from marginalised or underrepresented communities. I work as a committed ally to LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, and have a particular interest in supporting people living with disability, long-term health conditions and sensory impairment. As a Black British Caribbean woman living with sight loss, I understand how complex and challenging life can be and how important it is to feel truly seen, heard and accepted.

You don’t have to go through this alone. I work gently and respectfully, always at your pace. I know how deeply past experiences can shape the present, and I offer a space where you can feel safe enough to begin making sense of things without pressure or judgement.

You don’t need to explain everything — you can just come as you are. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences in a way that helps you feel more grounded, confident and connected to yourself.

If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to get in touch or book a free 20-minute call — there’s space here for you.
