About me and my therapy practice
I’m a Íø±¬ÃÅ-accredited integrative counsellor offering remote therapy by phone or video to adults and young people (16+) across the UK. I support clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, identity struggles, low self-esteem, or life transitions especially those from marginalised or underrepresented communities.
I work as a committed ally to LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, and also have a special interest in supporting people living with long-term health conditions, disability, or sight loss. I also work with clients dealing with the emotional strain these experiences can place on relationships or family dynamics.
As a trauma-informed therapist and a Black British Caribbean woman with lived experience, I understand how complex and layered life can feel. My aim is to offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can be heard, supported, and understood just as you are.
Together, we can explore what’s happening for you and help you move toward greater confidence, clarity, and connection.
Please note I offer individual sessions in blocks of six totalling £225 (which works out at £37.50 per session), which has to be used with a three month window
Practice description
Do you ever feel like you don’t quite fit in because of your background, your health, or the way life’s unfolded?
Maybe you’re living with a chronic condition, adjusting to sight loss, feeling burnt out, or carrying the weight of trauma or low self-esteem.
You might feel overwhelmed, unseen, or like you’ve had to fight harder just to be heard and understood.
You don’t have to go through this alone.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I work gently and respectfully, always at your pace. I know how deeply past experiences can shape the present, and I offer a space where you can feel safe enough to begin making sense of things without pressure, without judgement.
I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work.
As a Black British Caribbean woman living with severe sight impairment and chronic health conditions, I understand how complex and challenging life can be.
You don’t need to explain everything. You can just come as you are.
As someone who understands what it means to be misunderstood or overlooked, I offer a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported for who you truly are.
Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that helps you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself.
If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you.
Feel free to get in touch or book a free 20-minute call there’s space here for you.
My first session
The initial assessment session is a chance for us to meet, discuss what brings you to therapy, and consider whether we feel like a good fit to work together. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. I may ask some gentle questions to get a sense of your history, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We will also go over practical details such as confidentiality, session structure, and boundaries. This assessment is offered at a reduced rate of £30 and lasts 50 minutes.
If we decide to continue, the first full therapy session builds on what we explored during the assessment. This session priced at £40 is 50 minutes long and provides space to begin engaging more deeply with your thoughts, feelings, or experiences. There is no pressure to have everything worked out we go at a pace that feels right for you. You are invited to bring whatever feels most pressing or important to talk about.
We may begin to notice patterns or explore themes that feel significant to you, and start to shape the direction of our work together. If you are new to therapy, I will help guide the process and answer any questions you have. If you have had therapy before, we can reflect on what has or hasn’t worked previously to help tailor the sessions to your needs.
My aim is to create a collaborative, non-judgemental, and compassionate space where you feel supported to explore whatever is on your mind.
