About me and my therapy practice
Welcome..
I am a qualified counsellor and an accredited member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ, with over nine years’ experience working with both adults and young people. Throughout my career, I have supported clients with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, OCD, bereavement, trauma, relationship difficulties, bullying, anger, eating disorders, self-harm, and gender dysphoria amd other presenting issues.
While my core training is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I take an integrative approach, tailoring sessions to each client’s individual needs. I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where clients are encouraged to share their stories and explore their feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Counselling does not provide ready-made solutions, but it offers the opportunity for greater self-understanding, growth, and the ability to make informed choices.
Therapy with me is built on trust, respect, and collaboration. I aim to support clients in developing resilience, confidence, and self-esteem, while fostering a more positive outlook on life. Whether you are facing a particular difficulty or simply wish to reflect and better understand yourself, counselling can be beneficial—even if it is just for a single session.
I bring warmth, patience, and genuine care to my work. Clients often describe me as trustworthy, reliable, and attentive, with the ability to truly listen and engage. I believe these qualities, alongside my professional skills, enable me to provide meaningful support and empower those I work with to move towards a healthier, happier life.

First Session
During our first session, you’re welcome to ask any questions about how counselling works or about me and my approach as a counsellor. This initial meeting is also a chance for you to explore whether counselling feels like the right fit for you at this point in your life.
We’ll begin with a brief introduction and an assessment, which may include discussing the challenges you’re facing, your personal history, or simply sharing your story in your own words. Together, we’ll also review a counselling agreement, which outlines how I provide my services and establishes clear expectations for our work together.
