About me and my therapy practice
Are you finding life a struggle?
Perhaps you’re feeling alone, lost in your thoughts, anxious, sad, angry, fearful, overwhelmed, or facing difficulties in your relationships. Wherever you are in your life right now, I’m here for you.
I’ll be with you in your struggles: listening with warmth and without judgement, supporting you as you make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Practice description
Welcome, I’m Haley.
I’m a qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist offering a warm, genuine, and caring therapeutic relationship. My aim is to create a safe, comfortable, and confidential space where you feel truly heard, supported, and free from judgment.
Therapy is your space to share what’s on your mind, and explore your experiences at your own pace. Together, we can gently uncover patterns, understand how past experiences have shaped you, and open new possibilities for growth, healing, and meaningful change.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on different approaches that focus on how our early experiences and relationships shape who we are today. I work holistically, recognising the deep connection between mind and body, and how emotional experiences can be held physically as well as psychologically. I pay close attention to the healing potential in our work together, guiding our approach around what feels most supportive and helpful to you.
My background in domestic abuse work has deepened my understanding of trauma and continues to inform my sensitive, attuned, and compassionate approach.
Psychotherapy can help you develop greater self-awareness, improve your emotional and physical wellbeing, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships, with others and importantly with yourself.
I bring over seven years of experience working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds. I offer both short- and long-term therapy in person, from a ground-floor practice near the city centre, with easy on-street parking available.
Reaching out can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you’d like to find out more, please feel welcome to contact me by phone, text, or email.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to find out what brings you to therapy and for you to ask any questions that you may have.
Our first 50 minute session will involve an initial assessment, it is a chance to meet in person where we can explore more of what your current situation is and what you would like to achieve from coming to therapy. It is an opportunity to get to know each other and whether working together feels like the right fit.
There is no obligation for you to continue if you are not comfortable.
