About me and my therapy practice

Are you finding life a struggle?

Perhaps you're feeling alone, lost in your thoughts, anxious, sad, angry, fearful, overwhelmed, or facing difficulties in your relationships. Wherever you are in your life right now, I’m here for you.

I will be with you in your struggles — listening with warmth and without judgement — and supporting you to make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we can gently explore what’s happening for you and find the clarity and insight you're seeking.

Practice description

My name is Haley, and I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist. I offer a warm, genuine, and caring therapeutic relationship. My aim is to create a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you feel supported and truly heard — a space to explore your experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

I work from an integrative approach, drawing from both developmental and relational frameworks. This means I consider how your past experiences and relationships have shaped who you are today, and how our therapeutic relationship can support healing, growth, and lasting change. Every person is unique, so I tailor my approach to suit your individual needs.

Therapy offers the opportunity to talk openly, at your own pace, and without fear of judgement. Healing grows through connection, and the therapeutic relationship can foster insight, understanding, and meaningful change.

Psychotherapy can help increase your self-awareness, improve emotional and physical wellbeing, and support healthier, more fulfilling relationships — with others, and importantly, with yourself.

I have over seven years of experience working in psychotherapy. Before qualifying, I spent many years supporting survivors of domestic abuse and trauma, and I’ve worked with clients from a range of cultural and personal backgrounds.

I offer both short- and long-term counselling and psychotherapy in person. My practice is located near the city centre, on the ground floor, with convenient on-street parking available.

Reaching out can feel like a big step — but if you feel I could help, please get in touch by phone, text, or email.

My first session

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to find out what brings you to therapy and for you to ask any questions that you may have.

Our first 50 minute session will involve an initial assessment, it is a chance to meet in person where we can explore more of what your current situation is and what you would like to achieve from coming to therapy.  It is an opportunity to get to know each other and  whether working together feels like the right fit.

There is no obligation for you to continue if you are not comfortable.
