About me and my therapy practice

I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist working in-person in Central Manchester and online, across the UK. My specialisms include anxiety, stress, self-esteem, low mood, and relationships, in all their forms. Some of the areas I frequently support clients with include challenges within relationships with partners, friends, or family members; ‘people-pleasing’; work-related stress; loneliness or isolation; feeling stuck. These struggles are part of being human, but change is possible and therapy can help.

I have a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges and discover ways to thrive. I believe that with the right care and support, we all have the capacity to adapt, heal, and grow — even in the face of difficulties.

Practice description

I provide a non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and be heard. From our first sessions, we’ll work together to understand what’s happening for you and what you need to move forward. Sometimes this means looking back to understand the ‘why’, while at other times we focus on the ‘how’ of making changes.  The balance between these approaches depends on your goals, your preferences, and what feels most helpful as our work develops.

I draw on a range of therapeutic models, including Transactional Analysis and Attachment Theory, which I find to be really relatable ways of understanding how your past experiences have shaped your current patterns, beliefs, and relationships, helping you create lasting change.

At other times, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques, which provide practical tools for challenging unhelpful thinking, changing behaviour patterns, and building on your strengths.

I also work with clients to build awareness around how their emotional experiences influence their physical state. I do this through the lens of Polyvagal Theory, which provides an explanation for how our nervous system responds to every day stresses and more significant / traumatic events.

I am professional, down-to-earth and I approach all my work with warmth, honesty and compassion.

I am cis, heterosexual woman, who is LGBTQ+ affirmative and committed to anti-oppressive practice.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation, so you can decide if we are a good fit and ask any questions you may have. You can contact me by email, text message or phone call and I will get back to you within 48 hours.

About me and my therapy practice

Hello I’m Corrina, I’m an Integrative Counsellor working with adults across the UK, online, and in-person in Central Manchester.  My specialisms are anxiety, stress, self-esteem and relationships, in all their forms.

It may be that you find yourself people pleasing through fear of disagreement or rejection, or worrying that you aren’t a good enough partner, friend, etc. Perhaps you are stuck in behaviour patterns which lead to conflict with others, or that anxiety makes it difficult to enjoy social situations or progress at work. These are all natural things to struggle with and it can be difficult to know how you can feel, or do things, differently. Therapy can help.

Practice description

I help my clients to develop more fulfilling ways of relating to themselves and others, and to feel calmer, happier and more self-assured. I do this by listening and asking questions about how life has been for you, by helping you understand your feelings and behaviours, and by sharing my knowledge of emotional regulation, mindfulness and self-compassion.

I am professional, down-to-earth and I approach my work with warmth, honesty and the greatest of care. I offer a free 20-minute consultation, so you can decide if we are a good fit and ask any questions you may have. You can contact me by email, text message or phone call and I will get back to you within 48 hours.
