About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Karena
I know that reaching out for support can feel a bit overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure things out on your own. I’m here to offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can talk freely, without any pressure or judgment.
Perhaps you're feeling anxious, stuck, or just finding it hard to cope. Maybe your relationship is going through a tough time, and you're not sure how to fix it. Whether you're coming on your own or as a couple, I’ll meet you with empathy, care, and a genuine desire to help.
I work with all kinds of relationship challenges — from communication problems and feeling disconnected, to navigating big life changes together. It’s not about taking sides or finding blame, but about understanding what’s going on and working together to make things feel better.
I warmly welcome LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, and I aim to create a space where you can be completely yourself.
If you're not sure where to start, we'll take it slow, one step at a time.
Karena
Practice description
Sessions are charged at £50 for individuals & £70 for couples.
I offer a free 15-minute discovery call to help you get a feel for how I work and whether I'm the right fit for you. It's a relaxed, friendly chat where you can talk a little about what's bringing you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and ask any questions you might have.
I know life can sometimes be overwhelming, and seeking support takes courage. I will treat every enquiry with kindness and understanding to make the process a little easier.
My first session
The first session offers you the opportunity to explore your current circumstances and the issues you’re facing in a calm, confidential space. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other a little and see if we’re a good fit to work together.
You can talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to get out of it — and you’re welcome to ask me any questions you might have.
Some people come in knowing exactly what they want to talk about, and others aren’t quite sure yet — both are completely okay. This session helps me understand what support you might need and how we might begin working toward the changes you’d like to see, whether that’s in your relationship, your emotional wellbeing, or other areas of life.
There’s no pressure or expectation — just an open, supportive space to start the conversation.
