I currently have availability to accept new clients. I work 8am to 6pm, Monday to Thursday. I offer face to face sessions from my office in Carbis Bay, St.Ives and also provide online and telephone counselling. About me and my therapy practice
Looking for real change, not just a quick fix? I’m an experienced integrative counsellor, trained to meet you where you are—with compassion, honesty, and depth. My approach combines a range of therapeutic methods to fit you, not the other way around. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, loss, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface.
With years of experience, I’ve helped clients untangle complex emotions, build self-awareness, and create lasting change. This isn’t about surface-level advice—it’s about doing the real work together, at your pace. If you’re ready to move forward with clarity and confidence, I’m here to support you.
Practice description
My counselling practice offers a safe, supportive space where you can take a breath, speak openly, and feel heard. I work from a comfortable, private office designed to help you feel at ease—quiet, calm, and completely confidential.
As an integrative therapist, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from a range of therapeutic models, adapting our work to suit your unique needs, challenges, and pace. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, loss, relationship issues, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll explore it together—with empathy, honesty, and care.
You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. Some clients arrive with specific issues, others with a sense that something isn’t right. In either case, our work starts with getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what matters to you.
In our sessions, you can expect thoughtful attention, open dialogue, and time to reflect. Therapy can sometimes bring up difficult feelings, but it can also bring clarity, confidence, and real change. I’ll support you every step of the way.
If you’re ready to begin or curious about how counselling might help, I’m here.
My first session
Your first counselling session is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if we’re the right fit. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure space where you can talk about what’s brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it.
We’ll go at your pace—there’s no need to share everything all at once. I’ll ask some gentle questions to understand a bit more about you, your background, and what’s going on in your life right now. You’re welcome to ask questions too, whether about the way I work, confidentiality, or anything else that’s on your mind.
This session also gives us the chance to look at how we might work together moving forward. We’ll talk about your goals (even if they’re still taking shape) and discuss practical things like session times, frequency, and fees.
Most importantly, the first session is about giving you a feel for the space and support I offer—calm, private, and centred on you. There’s no obligation to continue after this session; it’s your choice, and your pace.

Availability
I currently have availability to take on new supervisees. I offer face to face, online and telephone supervision depending on your preference. My working days/hours are Monday to Thursday inclusive from 8am to 5pm.
About me and my therapy practice
As a supervisor, my aim is to offer a safe, collaborative space where you can reflect honestly on your client work, professional development, and the challenges that come with being a therapist. I work integratively, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic models and adapt my approach to meet your individual needs, experience level, and way of working.
Supervision with me is not just about oversight—it’s a space for growth, support, and deeper understanding. We’ll explore your clinical work, but also your emotional responses, ethical considerations, and personal process, helping you stay grounded, resilient, and aligned with your values.
I offer a balance of support and gentle challenge, encouraging you to think critically, stay curious, and build confidence in your own clinical judgment. Whether you’re newly qualified, in training, or more experienced, I aim to create a supervision relationship that feels open, respectful, and empowering.
Sessions are collaborative and flexible—we can focus on casework, theory, practical issues, or the relational dynamics that emerge in your practice. I also value humour, humility, and honesty in the supervision space—because supervision, while serious, doesn’t have to feel heavy.
If you’re looking for a reflective, down-to-earth approach to supervision, I’d be glad to support you.
Practice description
My supervision style is collaborative and grounded. I aim to create a relationship built on trust, honesty, and mutual respect. We’ll look at your clinical work, challenges, ethical dilemmas, and personal responses—always with a focus on your development and the wellbeing of your clients.
I provide a space where you can think freely, feel held, and stay connected to your values as a therapist. Whether you’re looking for ongoing supervision or support through a specific stage of your practice, I’m here to support you in doing your best, most thoughtful work.
My first session
Our first supervision session is 90 minutes long and gives us time to get to know each other and explore how we might work together. It’s a relaxed, reflective space where you can share more about your current practice, training background, client work, and what you’re looking for in supervision.
We’ll talk about your needs, goals, and preferred ways of working. I’ll explain how I approach supervision—my integrative style, the balance of support and challenge I offer, and how we can tailor our sessions to suit where you are in your professional journey.
We’ll also cover practicalities such as frequency of sessions, note-keeping, confidentiality, and any organisational or ethical requirements relevant to your work.
You can expect openness, curiosity, and a genuine interest in your development as a practitioner. You’re welcome to bring client material, questions, or simply use the session to think aloud and reflect.
This first meeting is also a chance for you to get a feel for how I work and whether we’re a good fit. There’s no pressure to commit beyond this session—what matters most is that you feel supported, respected, and able to bring your full self into the space.
