About me and my therapy practice

Life can feel overwhelming at times. You might be facing a difficult period, experiencing some kind of distress, or struggling with recurring internal challenges that won’t go away. If you're feeling stuck, anxious, or exhausted by trying to cope alone, therapy can offer a supportive and transformative space.

As a qualified counsellor, I offer a confidential environment where you can explore what’s going on and begin to make sense of it all. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or past trauma, talking to someone trained to listen and guide can make a real difference.

I work with adults and young adults who are navigating a wide range of emotional and psychological issues, including:

- Anxiety and panic attacks

- Depression and mood disorders

- Low self-confidence or self-esteem

- Stress and burnout

- Grief, loss, and bereavement

- Childhood or developmental trauma

- C-PTSD (Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)

- Lack of life direction or meaning

- Work-related stress and career issues

- Assertiveness and communication difficulties

If you’re looking for someone who can help you gain clarity, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence, I’d be happy to support you.

Practice description

I am a qualified integrative counsellor, holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling (Merit) from the Psychosynthesis Trust. My training integrates psychodynamic, humanistic, and transpersonal approaches, offering a holistic and flexible framework tailored to your unique needs.

This means our work together may involve:

- Exploring unconscious patterns and internal conflicts

- Reconnecting with parts of yourself that feel lost or silenced

- Working toward self-acceptance, insight, and meaningful change

Each person is unique, and I aim to shape our sessions in a way that aligns with your goals and where you are in your journey.

My first session

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. Here’s how the process works:

1) Free 20-Minute Consultation

Reach out via this page or via the link to my website above to request a no-cost, no-obligation phone call. This is a chance for us to briefly connect, and discuss what you are looking for in the counselling process.

2) Questionnaire & Introductory Session

If you’d like to proceed, I’ll send you a questionnaire to understand your background and what’s brought you to therapy. We’ll then arrange an initial session (online or in-person) to explore whether we’re the right fit for working together. If we decide not to go ahead, there will be no charge for that introductory session.

No GP referral is required. I offer both short-term therapy and long-term counselling, depending on your goals.
