About me and my therapy practice
I am a highly experienced mental health counsellor and psychotherapist with over 14 years of practice. I underwent intensive, specialized training in New Jersey, USA, focusing on work with individuals, families, and couples. Following my training, I worked as a psychotherapist in Dubai, UAE, providing both inpatient and outpatient psychological support to patients and their families. My experience spans various hospital settings, including trauma, psychiatry, and emergency wards, where I offered crucial supportive care and counselling.
For the past four years, I have been leading my own mental health practice while also working as a consultant counsellor and psychotherapist with multiple clinics across London. I have completed specialized training in using expressive arts to work creatively with trauma and adopt a trauma-focused approach to therapy. By integrating body-centred techniques, I help clients explore how trauma manifests physically, fostering deeper self-awareness and healing.
I have extensive experience supporting adults facing challenges such as depression, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, existential concerns, chronic illness, identity struggles, anxiety, and family-related issues.
I believe deeply in the power of the therapeutic alliance and am committed to creating a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. I understand that healing begins when individuals feel safe enough to explore their inner world, and I encourage clients to reconnect with their authentic selves at their own pace. Through empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, I support each person’s unique journey toward growth, self-awareness, and change.
My first session
I provide a free 15 minute virtual consultation that can allow you to ask questions and/or see if you are comfortable.
If you decide to continue our sessions will run for 50 minutes. The length of therapy always varies; however all decisions and treatment plans will be discussed with you as my approach is collaborative in nature.
