About me and my therapy practice

Welcome,

I understand it can be daunting in selecting and reaching out to a therapist. Highlighting, by researching this website, you are already making your first step.

You may feel overwhelmed with some of life's challenges and have queries such as, where do I begin? Who would be competent in working with me? Or what is a counselling approach? Consequently, I hope the following information will provide you with some clarity on your next steps.

I have been trained in a therapeutic approach called Integrative counselling. As an Integrative counsellor, I acknowledge that people come from all walks of life with a variety of issues. Therefore, I aim to cater to the specific needs of the individual as; I do not believe that one single approach can work effectively on every individual.

My practice is grounded in person-centred counselling whilst, integrating in a careful manner perspectives and practices from other approaches. I am grounded in the person-centred approach in order to build a strong and trustworthy therapeutic relationship.

I offer a safe, empathic and non-judgemental space for you to explore any difficulties, thoughts and emotions you may be experiencing. I believe you are the expert on your life therefore; I will walk alongside and guide you in reaching your own solutions. This can provide you with healing, clarity and the confidence to move forward and live a more fulfilling life.
