Practice description
You may be here because you are finding it difficult to cope with anxiety, a difficult loss or just life’s ups and downs. Perhaps you feel you may have lost confidence in yourself. You are not alone. I have helped many clients over the years overcome these concerns and get back to living the balanced and connected life they were meant to live.
I was drawn to becoming a counsellor having worked in the Mental Health sector for over 15 years and I have seen the real benefit that counselling brings people.
As a person centred counsellor, my work is rooted in empathy, trust, and creating a safe, non-judgemental space for you. I will support you in exploring your feelings, gaining self-awareness, and finding solutions that work for you.
My first session
In our first session, I will take time to get to know you and your story. We will cover; your current situation, your goals for therapy, and any specific challenges you may be facing.
I will also answer any questions about counselling and how it works. As well as any other questions or thoughts you may have.
By the end of our first session, you will have an idea how we will work together and if you would like to proceed.
