I offer face-to-face therapy sessions from Tuesday to Saturday in Teddington (Richmond Borough), as well as online sessions.
In my practice, I value consistency, predictability, and reliability — qualities that help children, young people, and families feel safe and supported. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, depending on your needs.
For longer-term work, I reserve a minimum number of sessions each year to ensure continuity and space for steady, meaningful progress. Over the years, I’ve accompanied many children and young people through their primary and secondary school years, and into university — sometimes continuously, and sometimes returning for support as new challenges arise.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified integrative child and adolescent psychotherapist. I bring over 20 years of commitment to children’s well-being and mental health.
I provide a confidential space where children, adolescents and young people can explore difficulties, find relief, develop coping tools, and reconnect with a sense of agency.
I also work with parents to help them better understand their children and develop strategies that work for them. I offer assessments and consultations.
Areas I work with include:
- Anxiety
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Relationship difficulties (family, siblings, friendships)
- School-based challenges (concentration, academic pressure, bullying)
- Low self-esteem
- Depression
- Suicidal thoughts
- Emotional outbursts and regulation
- Behavioural difficulties
- Identity development
- Relational trauma
- Enuresis (bedwetting)
Practice description
Face-to-face sessions take place in my therapy room in Teddington (Greater London - Richmond Borough). I also meet online.
I offer young people a non judgemental and confidential space to talk through and unpack what is troubling them. I help young people find relief, reconnect with themselves, make sense of their experience and develop healthy ways of coping with life challenges. I have in depth experience of working with complex issues. I help young people understand what might not be immediately apparent. I guide them on how to approach and manage overwhelm.
For children, a range of play and creative materials is available. I draw on various therapeutic approaches—including play, art, sand tray, and drama therapy—to support children in expressing what’s troubling them, experimenting with new ways of being, and growing in emotional maturity.
My first session
Therapy usually begins with a free initial call to explore what may be happening for the child, adolescent or young person and discuss how I might support them. This conversation may include how my approach fits within the wider landscape of available treatments, as well as information about confidentiality, privacy, what to expect from therapy, session frequency, and parent meetings.
Sessions typically last 50 minutes and are held weekly. That said, every child, adolescent and family is unique. I aim to provide a personalised approach that honours each individual context, while staying grounded in ethical standards and established therapeutic practices.
