Hello, I'm Den. I'm a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor, Play & Creative Arts Therapist and Supervisor in private practice near Abergavenny, Brymawr and Crickhowell. 

My approach is rooted in the belief that every person’s experiences and needs are unique. I aim to meet you where you are and support you in finding a way forward. I use creative approaches when appropriate and with consideration to what you feel comfortable with. Working through 'stuff' is tricky, sometimes painful, sometimes a joyful revelation, and sometimes unknown to us until it arises unexpectedly and surprises us! I'll be there to muddle through it with you or make sense of it in whichever way you find helpful.

If you choose to work with me, my aim is to create a safe, respectful, and open therapeutic space where we can explore the challenges you’re facing and work toward a path that feels lighter and more manageable. That path might be an A-Z line, a curly-wurly, a scribble or totally disjointed; all paths are different, yours is unique.

I offer a free 30-minute consultation in person, online or by telephone, during which we can see how we feel about working together.

Sessions are 50 minutes on a weekly or fortnightly basis either in person or online.

I am a qualified Pluralistic Therapeutic Counsellor and the Person Centred approach underpins all my therapeutic work.
