About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes we all need a little help making sense of our feelings, our thoughts or our lives.
I can facilitate a non-judgemental, sensitive exploration of whatever is on your mind or in your heart.
I work in collaboration with you to offer a tailored therapeutic experience, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques – all offered within an honest and safe therapeutic relationship.
In an environment of compassion and understanding, we can work towards a place of real growth and healing, where acceptance and change can be equally welcomed.
Practice description
I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, this means I integrate a variety of different theories and models into our work, personalised to your specific situation/needs and what works best for you. I appreciate every individual is different and there is no "one size fits all" for therapy.
I am also a trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist.
Sessions will be in-person in Sheffield and are 60 minutes long.
My pronouns are she and her.
My first session
As the therapeutic connection is so important to our work, I offer a free initial telephone call (up to 20 minutes), as a chance to introduce one another and to get a sense of whether we both feel we could work well together.
Your first full session will cost £20, each session after this will be £55.
Concessionary rates available for trainee therapists, at £50 per session.

About me and my therapy practice
My supervisory style is relational and collaborative. As an integrative therapist and supervisor, I draw from a range of approaches and models including: Carl Rogers’ Person Centred Therapy approach, Hawkins & Shohet’s Seven Eyed Model for Supervision, and the Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and supervision models.
I aim to provide a space for exploration and gentle guidance where appropriate. I value holding a compassionate, non-judgemental space to facilitate growth and insight.
Practice description
Exploration can lead to significant insights into your internal processes and a greater understanding of your practice, your relationship with yourself and with your clients.
I believe good supervision can help you to explore and make sense of what may be going on for you (your internal responses to your client), for your client, and what may be going on between you (the therapeutic relationship). It can help identify feelings, patterns, projections, transference/counter-transference. It can highlight blind-spots and areas for future CPD, and it can help you recognise your own successes and strengths. It can be a supportive space for reflection and processing.
Mirroring the value I place on the therapeutic relationship in my therapy practice, I feel the supervisory relationship is the most essential factor in effective supervision.
I offer face to face sessions in Sheffield, at the Practice Rooms, Broomhill.
I encourage potential supervisees to get in touch to arrange a free introductory phone call as a chance to introduce ourselves and for us both to get a sense of whether we feel we would work well together, before you commit to booking your first session.
My first session
Our first supervision session together will cost £20.
I feel this initial session is a good way to allow you to get a sense of what it might be like to work together, and to see if you feel we'd be a good match to your supervision requirements.
After that, our supervision sessions would cost £55 for an hour, or £80 for a 90 minute session.
