About me and my therapy practice
My approach is integrative, which means I draw from several therapeutic methods depending on your unique needs. At the heart of my work is the belief that a strong, trusting relationship is the foundation for real change.
I work primarily from a person-centred perspective, offering empathy, acceptance and genuine engagement. I also use tools from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy when they feel helpful and relevant. For longer-term or more complex work, I may incorporate schema therapy or elements of family systems thinking.
I specialise in working with people navigating issues such as anxiety, addiction, low self-esteem, trauma, and life transitions. Many of my clients are also dealing with relationship difficulties, burnout, or a sense of being 鈥渟tuck鈥 in their lives.
I tailor therapy to your pace. Some people come to me for a few sessions to work through a specific issue; others want longer-term support and deeper exploration. There鈥檚 no one-size-fits-all approach 鈥 we decide together what鈥檚 right for you.
Therapy with me is a space for honesty, curiosity, and growth. You鈥檙e the expert in your own life 鈥 my role is to support, reflect, and walk alongside you as you find clarity and strength.
Practice description
I provide counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment where you can bring whatever you're facing. My practice is inclusive and trauma-informed, and I welcome people from all backgrounds, identities and walks of life.
I work with adults (18+) in a range of ways 鈥 short-term support focused on a specific issue, or longer-term therapy for more deep-rooted patterns or past experiences. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with addiction, facing a major life change, or just want to understand yourself better, we can explore that together.
Sessions are held face-to-face, by phone, or online, depending on your preference and needs. I aim to make therapy accessible and flexible so it fits your life, not the other way around.
My therapeutic style is rooted in respect, emotional clarity, and a strong sense of holding space for whatever needs to emerge. In sessions, I focus on listening deeply, responding with care, and helping people make sense of what they鈥檙e experiencing 鈥 at their own pace. You can expect me to listen with care, respond with honesty, and support you in making sense of things at your pace.

My first session
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting 鈥 I鈥檓 here to make it as easy and welcoming as possible.
In our first session, we鈥檒l begin by getting to know each other. I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where you can speak freely, and I鈥檒l work to understand what has brought you to therapy. You don鈥檛 need to prepare anything in advance, and there鈥檚 no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with.
We鈥檒l talk about what you鈥檇 like to get out of therapy, any particular concerns you have, and how we might approach our work together. This initial meeting is a chance for both of us to decide whether we鈥檙e a good fit. If you're unsure about what you need or where to start, that's completely fine 鈥 we鈥檒l figure it out together.
I may ask a few questions to help me understand your situation better, including your history, current challenges, and any support systems you may have. If appropriate, I may complete a brief risk or wellbeing assessment 鈥 always with your consent and at your pace.
I aim for the first session to be supportive and grounding, helping you leave with a clearer sense of what鈥檚 possible. There is no obligation to commit beyond this session.
If cost is a concern, I offer a reduced rate of 拢30 for the first session so you can explore without pressure.
