About me and my therapy practice
I believe we all have the capacity for change. With the right support and the desire to move forward, transformation is possible. Sometimes what we need most is someone to believe in us and to walk alongside us as we take those steps.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Addiction Studies and am a Íø±¬ÃÅ registered Psychotherapist/Counsellor. I offer therapy face-to-face in a relaxed, confidential setting, as well as via telephone and online for accessibility and flexibility.
I have extensive experience working with substance misuse and addictions, supporting clients to explore and shift established patterns and behaviours. Together we work on relapse prevention, recognising triggers, and managing stressful situations, building resilience and self-empowerment to sustain recovery.
I also specialise in working with clients experiencing compulsive sexual behaviour disorder, including sex and pornography addiction, helping them to understand underlying triggers and develop healthier strategies for managing recovery.
In addition, I work with survivors of suicide, creating a safe space to reflect on what has led them to that point, and with those bereaved by suicide, offering support as they process loss and begin to move forward.
Practice description
I am non-judgemental, genuine, and empathic, I provide a safe, confidential space for clients to explore their issues. I work with those experiencing substance misuse (drugs and alcohol), sexual abuse, bereavement, and suicidal ideation. I also work with anxiety, depression, and many other issues. I work with clients to find a path to greater happiness and contentment. I also work with clients experiencing Compulsive Sexual Behaviour Disorder (CSBD) & Porn addiction.
