About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Sarah. I offer therapy for women moving through loss, life transitions, and the quiet shifts that can leave us feeling untethered.
Loss shows up in many forms...the end of a relationship, the passing of a loved one, a medical diagnosis, a change in identity, or simply the sense that something is missing. Even expected changes can bring a deep emotional weight.
I work with women navigating these moments, offering a reflective, compassionate space to process what’s happening and reconnect with a sense of meaning and self.
Whether you're moving through menstruation or menopause, fertility struggles or miscarriage, birth or bereavement, these thresholds matter. They leave a mark, and they deserve to be acknowledged, understood, and integrated with care. Sometimes, healing begins by honouring who we've been...so we can gently grow into who we’re becoming.
Grief can come from many places: what we’ve lost, what never arrived, or the life we hoped for but didn’t live. In therapy, we explore these stories at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Together, we make space for meaning, healing, and the next steps forward.
If you're in a time of transition, therapy can offer a space to pause, breathe, and be supported.
Practice description
As an integrative therapist, I draw on different therapeutic models to meet your individual needs. My work is rooted in:
• Psychodynamic therapy – exploring how early life and relationship patterns may be shaping the present
• Person-Centred therapy – building a warm, trusting relationship that supports your natural capacity to grow
When helpful, I may also offer grounding techniques or guided visualisations to support emotional regulation and insight. Our work is collaborative, responsive, and shaped by what matters most to you. This is your space.
I welcome women from all backgrounds, cultures, and sexual orientations.
My first session
I offer an initial consultation at a reduced rate of £40. This is an opportunity to explore what brings you to therapy, discuss what support may be helpful, and get a sense of how it feels to work together.
If we decide to continue, ongoing sessions are £70 and take place weekly at the same time each week. We can agree to a fixed number of sessions or work open-ended, with regular reviews to ensure the space continues to meet your needs.
I offer therapy to women across the UK online via Zoom, and in person from my private therapy room in Margate, Kent.
