About me and my therapy practice
Loss touches us all at different points in life, whether it’s the end of a relationship, a shift in identity, or the passing of a loved one. Even when expected, change can bring heavy emotions and a sense of overwhelm.
I'm Sarah, and I work with women navigating life’s transitions, offering a supportive and reflective space to process your experiences and restore a sense of balance. From menstruation to menopause, fertility to miscarriage, birth to bereavement - these pivotal moments often leave us changed. They deserve to be acknowledged, understood, and integrated with care.
Our bodies hold so much of our personal history. Whether you have experienced motherhood, chosen not to, or have been affected by medical interventions such as a hysterectomy, these experiences can significantly shape your sense of self and emotional wellbeing. Sometimes, healing begins by honouring who we were, so we can connect more fully with who we are becoming.
Grief takes many forms. It may arise from what we’ve lost, what we longed for but didn’t receive, or the paths we didn’t take. Together, we’ll explore these experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable, gently connecting the threads of your story to make meaning and support growth.
If you’re moving through a period of loss or transition, therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect. Together, we’ll explore what matters to you - working with care and intention to support your next steps.
Practice description
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of psychotherapeutic approaches to meet your unique needs. My practice is primarily informed by:
• Psychodynamic therapy – exploring how early life experiences shape current patterns and relationships
• Person-Centred therapy – trusting in your innate capacity to grow within a warm, respectful, and empathic relationship
Where appropriate, I may also incorporate grounding techniques and guided visualisations to support emotional regulation and offer deeper insight.
My approach is collaborative, responsive, and rooted in mutual respect. This is your space, and our work together will be shaped by what feels most relevant and supportive for you.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds, cultures, and sexual orientations.
My first session
I offer an initial consultation at a reduced rate of £40. This is an opportunity to explore what brings you to therapy, discuss what support may be helpful, and get a sense of how it feels to work together.
If we decide to continue, ongoing sessions are £70 and take place weekly at the same time each week. We can agree to a fixed number of sessions or work open-ended, with regular reviews to ensure the space continues to meet your needs.
I offer therapy to women across the UK online via Zoom, and in person from my private therapy room in Margate, Kent.
