About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Sarah
I am a fully qualified Integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, insured and a registered member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ, with several years of experience working with clients.
Over the years, I have worked extensively with adults navigating life’s transitions, stress and anxiety, and deep-rooted patterns. My career began in the NHS at a GP surgery, where I supported individuals facing crisis, overwhelm, anxiety, and depression, often struggling with financial pressures, relationship difficulties, and personal loss. While this work was deeply meaningful, it eventually led me to transition into Private Practice, where I have been working for the past six years.
My practice focuses on helping adults who may feel stuck in repeating patterns, facing relationship struggles, workplace stress, and emotional exhaustion. Many of my clients find themselves reassessing their priorities, questioning their direction, navigating career transitions as well as working through long-standing personal difficulties.
I also support people in their mid 30's going through a break-up or are single or navigating new relationships with the stress, anxiety and pressure of wanting a baby or making the decision whether they do or don't want a child. I've also helped woman through the challenges of menopause and peri-menopause, helping them manage emotional fluctuations, anxiety, fatigue, and physical discomfort. This transitional stage can be overwhelming, affecting confidence, relationships, and overall well-being. Together, we work toward understanding these changes, re-establishing balance, and embracing self-care practices.
*Areas I can help with*
Anxiety, depression, relationship problems, low self esteem, low confidence, feeling sad, family issues, trauma, loneliness, mental health, stress, social anxiety, Neurodiversity.
Practice description
My integrative approach allows me to tailor the experience for each individual, helping you to get the most out of your experience. The model I use draws on the principles of Psychodynamic, Person Centred, Mindfulness and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and coaching. In our work together I hope to give a new understanding and practical tools which will serve you in the future. At the heart of my practice is the understanding that our relationship is the key component for successful therapeutic outcomes. I hope and aim to provide a warm, safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to allow you to challenge established ways of thinking and being. Working collaboratively, I aim to help you evaluate your needs to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, allowing you to make empowered choices.

The first session is usually set up as an initial consultation it is 50 minutes and is offered to you at a reduced rate of £30, you are under no obligation to continue but it is a good way for us to meet and figure out if we are a good fit and could work well together. Practice description
Clients can expect a deeply personalized and adaptable therapeutic process that fosters lasting emotional growth and resilience. By integrating different therapeutic approaches, sessions are tailored to each individual's needs, allowing them to explore past experiences, relationship dynamics, and thought patterns in a way that is both insightful and constructive. Over time, clients can develop a stronger sense of self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence in setting healthy boundaries. Those dealing with anxiety, stress, or peri-menopause symptoms often find relief as they learn practical coping strategies that support both their mental and physical well-being. Ultimately, integrative therapy helps clients move beyond old patterns, gain clarity about their emotions and experiences, and cultivate a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Practice description
My integrative approach to therapy combines multiple therapeutic frameworks, allowing me to tailor sessions to each clients individual needs rather than relying on a single methodology. I draw from a range on Psychological theories, incorporating elements Psychodynamic exploration - examining how early life experiences shape current behaviours - while also integrating Person Centred Approach that emphasises self awareness, personal growth and emotional connection. Additionally, I consider the mind body connection, helping clients understand how emotional distress manifests physically, particularly in contexts like peri-menopause, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue and stress. My method ensures a comprehensive, adaptable and deeply personalised therapeutic experience that fosters long-term change and emotional resilience.
