About me and my therapy practice

• Struggling with anxiety, past trauma, or low self-worth? Whether you’re facing relationship challenges, addictive patterns, or questions about identity and sexuality, therapy can give you space to breathe, explore, and begin moving forward.

• I have a background as an NHS counsellor in GP practices, experience in private practice, and postgraduate training in psychotherapy.

• I work with a wide range of clients and a variety of challenges, believing that no issue is too big or too small to explore in therapy. I value the opportunity to support each person’s unique journey.

• My approach is integrative, combining traditional talking therapy with embodied techniques, giving you space to explore your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and begin moving forward in a safe and supportive environment.

• I have extensive experience supporting clients with addictions or those affected by the addictive behaviours of others, as well as those navigating trauma, major life changes, or feelings of disconnection.

Practice description

• You don’t need a clear or defined reason for seeking therapy — you may just experience low mood, anxiety, or a sense of being stuck without knowing why. Whatever you bring, we will explore it together.

• As an integrative therapist, I combine different therapeutic modalities to tailor therapy to your individual needs. My approach is down-to-earth and grounded in principles from person-centred therapy, respecting your choices and offering a safe, professional environment.

• Therapy is a space to gain clarity, feel more connected, and approach life’s challenges with confidence. I work in a holistic and responsive way, rooted in the belief that therapy should feel alive, engaging, and real. My practice is relational, meaning the quality of our connection is central to the healing process.

• Drawing on my years as a somatic therapist, I use body psychotherapy and tools for self-expression to support inner child work, emotional processing, and self-regulation in a supportive, nurturing environment.

My first session

• Before your first therapy session, I offer a free 30-minute introductory chat to see how I might be able to support you. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, discuss your needs, and cover practicalities, such as location, payment, and whether you need short- or long-term therapy. This is not a therapy session itself, but a way to check if we feel like a good fit.

• Your first full session is where the therapeutic work begins. °Â±ð’l±ô explore your goals, discuss your experiences, challenges, and patterns, and build a shared understanding of where to start. The session also provides a space to begin establishing a trusting, collaborative relationship so you feel supported as you explore sensitive topics.

• It’s normal to feel nervous or unsure before your first session — many people do — and this is perfectly understandable. The session is client-focused: we work at a pace that feels comfortable to you and concentrate on the areas that matter most, setting the foundation for significant personal growth.

• I'm looking forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey to reaching your full potential.
