About me and my therapy practice
Hello and thanks for visiting. I am a fully qualified person-centred and EMDR-certified therapist, offering a warm, empathic approach to help you safely explore and heal whatever is holding you back or causing distress. I am originally from the US and utilise an integrative approach to tailor sessions to your needs. Areas of expertise include trauma, depression, anxiety/panic attacks, attachment, relationships, identity and self-esteem. I have had the privilege to work with diverse populations, and inclusivity is of utmost importance to me. I view counselling as collaborative process that should always feel supportive and never pressured.
I use an integrative approach, blending EMDR into a person-centred framework, to look at what factors in your current life may be contributing to unhappiness or discomfort, while considering past experiences that may be having an impact. All of my work, including EMDR, is fully adaptable to an online setting. I also offer supervision to other counsellors.
By offering a non-judgmental, client-centred approach in a caring, supportive environment, my hope is to help you realise your potential for happiness and well-being. Please get in touch as I am happy to arrange a complimentary 15-minute phone call to speak about your needs and answer any questions you may have. I am currently working remotely only via Zoom.
